I stopped by Tahocha during the store's soft opening and experienced terribly at the store regarding the attention to service, hygiene, and overall professionalism serving the client. When I was waiting in line to order, I noticed there was a young girl who made the boba wore a pink pajama pant with Hello Kitty logo and her hair was messy. I saw a customer walked out unhappy because she complained her drink missing a topping and the staff leaned over the counter, scooped topping added to her drink...My order was skipped as I saw the other people came after me but got their drink first. I called out a staff and asked how long it might take for my order. The young guy came back and forth, said 7 more minutes. It took me 45 minutes to wait for my order (1 batch of 4 drinks), but I had not still received my drinks yet. Again, I approached to ask how long my order would take because I need to go back to work. This time, another younger guy said 6-10 more minutes. At that moment, I felt disrespected because I saw there were many staffs who laughed and chatted behind the till to handle the orders but could not get my small order done. On top of that, I saw the guy with his tattoo on the left hand called and gave the drink to people came after me. I asked him why, he said because they ordered only 1 drink even though they got in line way after me. What the point of getting in line to wait, then being skipped just because the other customer ordered only 1 drink and I had ordered for 4 drinks!? It doesn't matter how many drinks the customer orders, if he or she gets in line first to order, he or she should be served first. This ruined my mood and others who came with me and saw that. Moments like this make me feel overlooked, disrespected, or as our time and presence isn’t...
Read moreI stopped by during the store’s soft opening and was impressed with the drinks. The tea was fresh, flavorful, and carefully prepared — you can tell a lot of thought went into the menu. BUT that said, I think it would greatly benefit the business if the owner emphasized the importance of customer service and cleanliness with the staff. The staff member who helped me sneezed right before taking my order and didn’t sanitize his hands afterward, which made me feel so uncomfortable. Then, when my receipt printed, he held onto it while turning back to laugh and chat with coworkers before handing it to me, it took him a few seconds. This ruined my mood and others who came with me and saw that. Moments like this make me/customers feel overlooked, disrespected, or as our time and presence isn’t valued at all. I understand it’s just the soft opening, and things can improve. With stronger attention to service, hygiene, and overall professionalism, this shop has the potential to provide a much...
Read moreWe stopped by during their soft opening (it was packed!) and still had an amazing experience thanks to their friendly, attentive service. The menu is unlike any other boba shop we’ve been to with several creative drinks to choose from!
A big plus: they use cane sugar syrup, which makes everything taste clean and smooth. Our group tried nearly the whole menu and were impressed across the board. The teas are fragrant, the sweetness is just right, and the boba itself is the perfect texture.
My personal favorite was the Tropical Vibes- refreshing, fruity, perfect to enjoy in the Texas summer heat. For something unique, the Roasted Rice Milk Tea stands out from anything you’ll find elsewhere. And if you need a caffeine kick, the House Milk Tea is a great pick-me-up.
Overall, Tahocha is delivering bold flavors, fun twists, and quality you can taste. Definitely worth checking out if you’re...
