Waffle House — Restaurant in Arlington

THE BEST waffle House I've ever visited in America! Usually when I go they are extremely busy ...but yet getting the job done! Sometimes we have to wait a few minutes ...but it's always well worth the wait ...because the food is so delicious! I love Chantilly's enthusiasm and encouragement with the crew! She shouts out the orders in a very friendly way and makes the place feel unified. She compliments employees in front of each other and the customers in a most excellent way! And every single employee pays attention to detail and does their job in the best manner possible as far as I could see. I give credit to every single team member and I appreciate even the ones that usually don't get much recognition. Especially the cooks because the food is perfect!... At least it always is for me. I do not know a single person who works there and it was my first time meeting Chantilly yesterday March 2024. I've only visited there three or four times a few months apart and every time I'm in town I hope to pop in whether I'm hungry or not! It's very rare nowadays to see a group of people working so hard yet getting it so right and with a good attitude all at the same...

Honestly, we thought when the waffle House got built in Arlington and it was going to be awesome because the one that was closest to us was in Lakeland Tennessee. We’ve been to waffle House two times before that every single time either the staff has been overly ghetto or they have had a lack of customer care. Tonight we went in and sat in the chairs by the door until a table was available for over 20 minutes, which is not a big deal and then we finally go to sit down at the barstool seating, the waitress comes up to us and let us know that the cooks say they’re no longer taking any orders there was hardly anyone if you asked me that’s very poor customer service and they could’ve said something to us over 20 minutes ago and let us know that they weren’t taking any orders. They were more concerned about the to go orders or talking amongst one another. They really need to hire a better staff especially in the Arlington area with better customer service. Honestly it’s a huge letdown and they should’ve put a different restaurant in Arlington than Waffle house . I’ve had better experiences at other waffle houses around the city of Memphis in this by far is...

I came by one afternoon and the place wasn't serving customers. The waitress told me to come back in a coupole of hours. A local business was steam cleaning the stove and hood area !!!

This location and the Arlington location on 64 are the Stars of Memphis Waffle House World. The buidings seem to have a few more inches in seating room that the older Waffle House buidings. As for the staff .... At both locations, the staff has been fantstic.

And the food, pure, 100% unadultrated Waffle House.

As for the 5 stars above, this is relative and it applies to where I'm and similiar establishments. The staff greeted me, the buiding was clean at the time, the cook was a cookin' ..... , the staff was talking among themselves and seemed to be having a getting along. All this added up to a good atmosphere to sit back and drink a cup of coffee and watch the world go by a for a...
