We've been to location several times, and unfortunately, food quality is going downhill. It's obvious they leave the chicken out for too long. However the real issue is who they are hiring. Now it takes A LOT to render me silent and I am far from "appropriate behavior," but there is a time and place. Now, I also do not know if they hire Special Needs, I have a niece with Down's Syndrome so there is absolutely nothing wrong with them be successful in their endeavors. I am also not saying the cashier on 07/02 around 7:40 p is. (I know her name but will not call out an employee direct). She is an older woman w/glasses; clearly new.
When we entered they were being just jovial employees, which is fine, you have to enjoy being around your co-workers. She apologized for it, but when asking if it was for take out or not, made a sideways joke about she needs to remember to ask "Dine in or Dine out, instead of Eat in or "you know Eating out." Now, I found that funny, but highly inappropriate as well as taking her headband off sliding it back on in a food touching environment. I think the worst was, my husband order 6 biscuits to go (we will eat them for breakfast over coffee for a couple days) no explanation required. I joked why he needed them and she decided too, to ask "Why do you need so many biscuits," to which my husband stated the same thing I did...This woman had the gall to go on with "Well that's why you're so..." and proceeded to puff out her cheeks and spread her arms." Regardless if we are overweight, (which we are) that was beyond inappropriate. If she is Special Needs, she needs a different position, if not, a definite speaking to. The only reason I left 2 stars, is, I assume the Asian man is the manager? He was extremely kind and jumped in when he saw her struggling on...
Read moreThree and a half stars is what I would give it if I could, but it was my first time there and maybe it would be better another time so I rounded up to 4. Pros: it's a really good value. These are not the small pieces of chicken like Popeyes or KFC, where by the time you pull off the coating it's a tiny piece of chicken. These are nice and big, and so are the sides that come in the combo meal. They give a small discount if you pay cash (about 40c). The person at the window was nice enough and told me to have a nice evening; not a long wait at drive thru. Cons: The chicken is a little drier than I would have liked, even the dark meat. I wouldn't call it juicy or moist at all. It wasn't bad, just not moist. I do like Popeyes better for that part. They did get my order wrong; I ordered the 3pc combo thigh, leg and wing and when I opened it I didn't see anything that I recognized as a wing. When I dug into the biggest piece it was clearly white meat and a breast and when I looked at my receipt, that's what they rung up too-- but that's not what I ordered. I despise white meat chicken so I know "breast" would never have come out of my mouth. They are minimalist on what goes in the bag- I got a few napkins and a fork and that was it- nothing whatsoever for the biscuit, not even a knife but I guess if that helps keep the prices down then okay. I assume if you ask for a knife or butter or honey they would have it at a small charge. Overall, it wasn't bad; I will try again and reserve judgment until then about whether I'm going back to...
Read moreDo not recommend, most (all but one apparently) have no idea what is going on, messed up our original order (hadn’t received it yet) because the front counter have no clue what they are selling and told us wrong information from the get go, the man who came out to tell us it was going to be a long wait unless we wanted just wingettes and thankfully he did because that is when we realized that the lady at the front counter knew nothing because she said those was boneless wings, so he fixed our order corrected our ticket and told us it was going to be a bit, then not to long after another older lady came out and handed us our bag and said it was all there and ready to go. So we drive all the way home on the other side of imperial sit down to eat to realize that it was completely the wrong food. So now we are hungry, mad, and I have to drive all the way into town. My husband was furious and did want part of the order taken off but apparently unless you want their terrible sweet tea or some sides they don’t do partial refunds. So now I do sit here with a full refund and still looking for something to eat, but it won’t be from here!
They need to train their staff properly before letting them assist customers unmonitored! I really feel the dude working cause lord knows he trying to carry this whole...
