Super Spot Food Store — Restaurant in Asbury Park

First off, how dare you? How dare you call this pizza? My buddy and I order from this place last night, as they were one of only a few open choices and we were desperate. As someone who enjoys pizza more than anything else on the planet, I feel personally offended by what was offered from 'Mr. Spot'.

We ordered your standard cheese pizza and mozzarella sticks. I presume the mozzarella sticks are microwaved (and probably not even to the instructed time on the box), because it was like eating string cheese that was rolled in remaining crumbs of sticks from a much better restaurant, and it so happens that the string cheese was left over from my lunch when I was in third grade.

Now the 'pizza' itself was quite possibly some of the worst pizza I've put in my mouth, and I'll be honest, I've had 7-11 pizza in desperation before. This was worse. We actually could not finish it because of how miserable it was. I would rather attempt to beat dark souls one blindfolded and without any limbs before eating from this place again. If fact, my buddy's wife woke up in the middle of the night, to text us in the living room 'what the hell are you eating, it smells terrible?'

I'm leaving this at two stars, because they are at least open much later than you'd except a pizza shop in Asbury to be, but I will not be ordering...

Honestly I tried to give it a fair chance it was ok the first time and ever worse the second I will not be ordering from here again the gyro had no meat wasn’t filled at all and bread was super thick so if you want to pay $10 for gyro bread go for it and we got a chicken sandwich $17 by the way and it was so thin and weird we had to throw it away it was giving mystery meat. Please do better just because your a chicken pizza spot doesn’t mean you don’t have to serve quality food go to restaurant depot they have better quality fried easy food that taste good care about your customers you charge way to much for you food to be that bad get a new chef and new products your business will...

Terrible. Placed an order through grubhub exactly two hours before they closed. Waited about an hour and got email notifications saying that my order would arrive shortly. Eventually called and they told me they canceled my order because it was too late to deliver (which was confusing because they were still open for another hour). They never gave me a courtesy call or anything. Just canceled my order without saying anything. Checked my account two days later and still got charged from them.
