The food was excellent, the service was, well terrible. It all started out well enough, the waitress was personable. After placing our order, she asked if we wanted cheddar biscuits, we said "sure". We had to ask for them when the food came. She had forgotten. The biscuits were bland, could've used a lot of seasoning, as a freebie I'm not rating them. The sandwiches were incredible! I got CJ's Reuben, and my wife got CJ's Club. (I tasted hers). My water ran out, now I'm the type that leaves it in plain view, on the side where everyone can see it, and I had hoped she would notice it. Finally, after we were finished, and she hadn't stopped, I called out to her for the check. She then looked at my glass, and asked if I would like a water "to go". I replied that I wanted one while I was eating. She was, by no means too busy in all the time we were there. I didn't tip. Tip is an acronym for 'To Insure Promptness'. I'm taking off a star for CJ's waitress, who should be working either in the back, or elsewhere.

While traveling for work, a local coworker recommended CJ’s Olde Towne Restaurant—and I’m so glad they did. From the moment I walked in, this place brought back that warm, nostalgic feeling of a classic hometown diner. The food was exactly what I needed: comforting, flavorful, and prepared with care. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the bacon was crisp just the way I like it, and the biscuit? Easily a 10/10—flaky, soft, and absolutely delicious. What truly stood out, aside from the food, was the atmosphere. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, creating a relaxed and homey vibe that made the entire experience even more enjoyable. I can honestly say I’d drive two hours just to eat here again. CJ’s Olde Towne is a hidden gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone craving a great breakfast and genuine hospitality.

We had breakfast this morning. Here are a few thoughts on my selection, the service and atmosphere. I had the sausage skillet. This dish was comprised mostly of hashbrowns. It also had sausage patties cut into small pieces, two eggs of my choice, and melted cheese. This dish was visually interesting. The taste, on the other hand, was very bland. Underseasoned or no seasoning at all. Service was outstanding and very communicative. The atmosphere of this restaurant is disappointing. The front is always packed, and the side room and back room are cold, breezy, and have no decor. It's always where we end up, but it seems like an afterthought. Parking here is a nightmare. As much business as this business gets, they should build a stand-alone restaurant in a more desirable location with a lot of parking. Let's go!

I have been going here a few times a month and most of everything I have got has been good but today was not! They had prime rib and I love that so I ordered that and 2 sides which I got mashed potatoes and pasta salad. They seem to be busy and I'm fine with that it took a while to get our food and when we did I ate some prime rib and mashed potatoes and then the Pasta salad and as I started to chew this it was so rancidi couldn't grab napkins fast enough to spit it out and I told my hubby OMG try this tell me if that's not bad?? The waitress comes just them asking if everything is ok? And my hubby is now spitting out that pasta salad and I'm doing everything from not puking n the table it floor and managed to tell her that it was rancid and then all she could say is can I get you something else but at that moment all I could think of was not puking my guts out right in front of every one! And she walks off and doesn't come back and my hubby went and got us to go boxes and I left to go out side while he paid the bill and only a sorry like it was no big deal! Things is it was a big deal because us both couldn't even eat out food because our stomachs are still nauseated!! I just think you all need to sample food before seeing it it...

I'm very disappointed in CJ's. I've been going to this restaurant ever since it opened and I don't know who they have cooking now, but the food is horrible here lately. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich thus morning and I took 1 bite and the chicken was the worst I've ever eat. It was so dry and chewy I couldn't eat it. I sent it back and ordered a fried bologna sandwich with cheese on a bunch and told the waitress tell the cook I want the bologna (BURNT ). Lord Jesus needless to say It was definitely nowhere close to being burnt and the cheese wasn't even melted so thanks CJ I left there hungry but my dog ended up eating good. I usually don't post reviews but with prices of food going up as I seen in your menu as well you have increased your prices I feel like restaurants and other people need to know. I'm mainly posting because CJs has ALWAYS been me and all of my friends and family's go to restaurant and the food use to be excellent each and every time but the past couple of times have been extremely terrible. On the upside the waitress definitely was exceptional and very understand. I hope the owner of CJs gets this issue fixed and the food gets back to being excellent...

I love their food there the food is delicious! And I've never had a problem with a waitress until the last time I was there. My bill was $7.25 and I gave her a $20 and she brought me back $12 and said she didn't have any change and it was a lot of trouble to get change. So she didn't bring me my $0.75 and when I asked her about it she said oh well I just didn't have any change and it's just a lot of trouble but if you want me to I'll go get it and I said yes I do because that's not like it's a nickel or a dime that's almost a dollar now if she wanted to consider that part of her tip that's okay, and she did the same thing to my sister-in-law who was with me and I think her change back was like 12.77 or something like that and so she just brought her back her bills but not the 77 cents. She said the same thing to her and my sister-in-law's like 92 so she just didn't say anything about it. The waitress was the sweet as she could be and and very attentive but I didn't think that was good customer service to do like that to just take for granted that you didn't want your...
