Bridge & Tunnel Coffee - Cafe & Roastery — Restaurant in Asheville

This is an addition to my original review and an admission of my error.

I agree with the response I received from the management of Bridge & Tunnel Coffee. In retrospect, I should have returned to the service counter and mentioned my perception of the Avocado on Toast to, at least, give the young lady at the counter an opportunity to rectify the situation. If the staff ignored or discounted my complaint I would have justification to write the original review and indicate the on-site response. I do need to state that their Nitro Coffee is incredibly delicious.

Original Review: Ordered Avocado on Toasted Sourdough bread. Bread was not toasted at all!! More like whimpy cheap white bread. Avocado was an Avocado Spread that was not eatable. Looked like thro_ _p. They sprinkled some type of something on the spread. Had 1 bite hoping that visual did not represent taste and texture. Result: I threw in garbage. The Nitro cold brew was wonderful. Suggestion: Do not order the food!! Stay...

I’ve been frequenting the bridge and tunnel truck for years now. I was so excited that they were finally opening a storefront. The parking was easy , the cafe was super spacious and as always everyone was so warm and welcoming. I’m so happy that I now have a place I can go during the week to grab my coffee beans to brew at home. I love that they have a food menu that they put a lot of thought and care into. I can’t say enough good things about them ❤️. For anyone who is hesitant about how to find the actual café, if you just map out 10 Fernihurst Dr, it takes you straight there. Plenty of free parking ( even on campus ) and a lot right across the street...

My partner and I are so excited for this AMAZING addition to Asheville! We were here this morning and were blown away by the creativity and deliciousness of the bbq tempeh sandwich. We also had a nuts over chocolate smoothie that was the perfect texture and level of sweetness. The muffins were also sooooo good!!! The art on the walls is really cool, the atmosphere felt open and bright, and the staff had some of the best energy we’ve encountered.
