Spartina 449 — Local services in Asheville

I just wanted to pass along the wonderful experience I had with Laura of your Asheville store!

I was searching for a particular item to send a friend as a wedding gift. Unfortunately, the online shop didn't have it anymore. I didn't want to give up, and remembered from my time in retail during college that I could call the stores and see if they had the item to ship to me. I called store in Charleston, and they didn't have it. They directed me to call the Outlet and Asheville.

Laura in Asheville was so helpful in finding the items I had been calling all over to locate. She took her time to look for the items, making sure that she got a description of exactly what I was looking for, and checked the floor and the back. She was patient, knowledgeable, and KIND! I added on two additional items to my order simply because she was willing to help and was patient. She did  all of this while being attentive to the other customers in the store, too. SHE IS AMAZING!

I know that working in retail can be challenging, and many of the attitudes you encounter are just trying to rush you off the phone or out of the store. My phone purchase with Laura maybe only lasted 20 minutes, but it is evident that she cares about quality...

Back in December, my family and I visited Asheville for the Christmas season. We stopped by Spartina as my mother is a huge fan of their products and wanted to show and share with me. We ended up purchasing a crossbody as well as several other products. About a month and a half later, my crossbody’s front clasp broke off completely and as a sort of “shot in the dark” I called Asheville back to see if there was some way I could get it fixed. Patricia, the manager, went OUT OF HER WAY to help me. Not only did I see a new crossbody within a week, she made sure I was happy with the whole circumstance, going to great lengths to be loyal and kind to her customers. I’m not really much of a “posh brand” shopper, but Patricia and the crew at Spartina 449 in Asheville are incentive enough to go back again and again....

I have visited other Spartina stores, but I have never made a purchase. I visited this store and overheard the manager telling the story of Spartina. Let's just say I was sold after that! I purchased a couple of items, and Patricia the associate was more than a pleasure as she helped me with my purchases. I began to regret not purchasing other items, so I called the store.
