Bagel aficionados and fanatics— look no further! Claire and team answered our prayers for legitimate NYC/NJ - inspired bagels in AVL, and they’re not messing around. Freshly boiled and baked bagels are alchemized as you wait in line. The cashier doesn’t miss a beat, and addresses all patrons by name which is such a cool neighborly touch.

Got a baker’s dozen — poppyseed, salt, onion, plain, everything — and a lox sandwich on poppy — the perfect bubbly, crispy outer shell with the chewy ( not bready!) center satisfied my tristate palette.

Been waiting for this day, and so glad it’s here. This is the quintessential bagel joint— the only legit bagel I’ve had south of the mason dixon, and I am so stoked to come back and see how the menu evolves 😍 go and get your bodacious bagels before...

In my 40 years of life, never having traveled up North, I was convinced I didn’t like bagels. Well… turns out I’ve just had a lot of really bad bagels.

My mind (and taste buds) have officially been changed thanks to this place. Our bagels were still warm straight out of the bag. A quick toast at home and BAM, that perfect crunch followed by a soft, pillowy inside. 10/10, wouldn’t change a single thing.

And to anyone leaving one-star reviews because this (NEW) small business—working their butts off every single day—sold out before you got there: please take a moment to reflect on your life choices. Or, if self-reflection isn’t your thing, at least follow their IG. They post sell-out...

Okay, first of all, these are the best bagels I’ve ever even looked at. Like, not just tasted. Looked at. Perfect little circles of joy. And to everyone leaving 1-star reviews because they ‘sold out’, what the actual hell is wrong with you? That’s called being successful, babe. It means the bagels are good, people like them, and you showed up late to the party. Set an alarm next time.
