I took my dog here several times. He loved it and would be so happy. Each time I picked him up the staff would say he was wonderful and that they loved having him.
The past three times I tried to board they would just cancel my reservation or say they didn’t have any space for him. Once or twice I can understand but three times, something’s definitely up.
I called the place and the lady who picked up (not her fault that this happened obviously) looked up his chart and was confused as to why there was a note that said “do not accept reservation” and nothing else. She said she would definitely let the manager know about this and get back to me.
I just want to say, if there was ever an issue with my dog, it would’ve been nice to know instead of just all of a sudden banning him from the place. I was a happy customer until this happened and I’m actually quite upset at how they’ve treated my dog.
We have always been complimented by our dogs behavior and how gentle he is everywhere we go so the fact that all of a sudden they refuse to take him really makes me confused and angry. My friends/family and I will NEVER come back here after how they’ve treated my dog. Horrible.
EDIT: The owner called me and wanted to hear about my experience. She was very understanding and completely understood why I was upset. I added two stars just for her customer service. It’s good to be heard when you’ve been...
Read moreOur girl, Oona, has been going to Central Bark since they opened last year. She loves it so much, and practically breaks the door down to get in there every Monday morning. All the staff are really welcoming, and give us little details about her day. Evidently, Oona is a "party girl" -- no surprise there! Can't say enough about Central Bark and it's also the first time we've felt completely stress-free on overnights she has had while we were out of town. We have also had a few grooming services, and agree with other reviewers here on how great Katie is! Emily and Lisa have worked hard to create and maintain a great business with care toward the pup, their owners, and also their own staff. During Helene, Emily and Lisa stayed over many nights with their own pups, to ensure the pups whose owners couldn't get to them, were well taken care of. To me, that says it all about their commitment and care. We feel really grateful to be a part of Central Bark Asheville and...
Read moreAbsolutely best place to take your fur baby. I love these guys so much. But back story me and the Fiancé were visiting the area and wanted to go to the Biltmore. But they dont allow dogs in the house. Everywhere else would not watch our pup because we were tourist. Central Bark agreed to but our pup would have to watched alone. Since he hadn't passed their behavior check. Perfectly reasonable in my view. But they took him in, and checked his records to ensure he was vaccinated. They sent me a ton of photos throughout the day and he seemed to be haveing a blast. They also saw us looking at the pajamas so they selected one and put it on him well we were out so we could see what he looked like. Ontop of all that they also heard us talking about how we just got engaged and gave us free treats. This is by far the best Doggy Daycare place I have ever been to, if we ever visit Ashville or the surrounding areas we will definitely be...
