better attitudes and better customer service. I've been in there a few times. my daughter noticed 1 time how rude the lady was. well this last time I noticed and rude she was. I felt like my questions and small order for my 6 yr old grandson was an inconvenience to her. like I wasn't spending enough. I asked about getting the cupcakes on Saturday, she replied well it depends on what exactly you want I asked about swirling the icing and very rudely she said, well that will cost you more for that. just went with simple because I had the toppers. she again replied well I guess we can. but I had to pick a time for pickup. she said I will just put you between 3 & 4. I went ahead and paid for my order. the more I thought about it I knew I shouldn't have. I called to cancel the order. the lady I spoke with really didn't care why I was canceling my order. I had to tell her I had a few things to say. she let me start but interrupted me at every turn, I had to ask her to please let me finish what I had to say. she really just didn't care. i will never step foot back in Tiptons simply because of the way I was treated and how she made me feel. I went to DOUBLE DRIZZLE they were happy to take my simple order and will be doing the swirling of the icing. customer service there is top notch and others should take lessons from them. NEVER again Tiptons...
Read moreThis is the best bakery ever! The sweets here are amazing!!! I have been a fan of Tipton's for years. I used to shop in the old store, then the last store and Tammy used to make all the cakes that we had for birthdays, showers, special occasions, etc.. They weren't just beautiful, they were delicious. That was many years ago and I was sad to see the store close. I thought I would never taste another sweet treat from Tipton's again. Then about a month ago I was on the internet looking for local bakeries when I found Tipton's Traditions Inc needless to say I was thrilled. I hoped that it was the same Tipton family that I had known. Afterall the one I knew was in Ohio and this one was in Kentucky. I called to get their hours, and then when my husband got off work we.went together and were delighted to find that it was indeed the same family that I knew. It was Tammy. Although she wasn't there at the time, you could just look around at all the sweet treats, pies cakes, cookies, cake pops and much much more. From the amazing smells you knew Tammy had been there. I bought cupcakes, mini pineapple-upsidedown cakes. They were wonderful, just as I knew they would be. I can't wait to make another trip back over there. Hopefully Tammy will be there. I hope you will give them a try too. You won't be...
Read moreMy sister and I went to Tipton’s on April 27. To order a cake for a bridal shower May 19. We waited several minutes and when the young lady came to assist us, she was annoyed when we told her we wanted to order a cake she immediately said “We are booked”. Didn’t ask the date we needed or what it was for or offer any suggestions just rudely repeated “we are booked”. “We can’t make any more cakes for May” No apologies. Lucky for us The Blazer is just around the corner and they were happy to take our order and decorate per our request, even allowed for Sunday pick up. While eating Lunch at the Blazer we had the Strawberry cream cake it was Awesome. So. Needless to say we will take all our bakery needs to The Blazer...
