So this review is long overdue. My fiancée and I started coming here late April early May more interested in their Pinball selection. It was somthing different seeing as we live in the area. The first person to tell us about the location and teaching us the gist of Lumberjack Johnny's was Dan. My fiancée fell in love with their Drop Top Sour Randler from Stubborn Brothers on tap. (This was before they got their offical sour from them). We kept coming back with other friends and family almost every Friday after that for pinball and darts. About 2 weeks before I decided to visit again since bringing my fiancée back to school and still a fun stop. I make a point to go visit at least once every 2ish weeks. When my fiancée came to visit for the holidays we finally tried axe throwing for the first time. Steve Kovacs gave us a good safety and tips and tricks to learn to throw. I picked it up right away and my fiance struggled with the different axes available. Then Steve gave her a WATL ax to try out and then she threw amazingly after getting used to it. Should also mention they have a great selection of beers (like Noble Roots and New Glarus) and fantastic Wild Bill sodas (personal favorites are the Orange Dreamcicle and Birch Beer flavors) Thank you to both Dan and Steve for making us feel welcome- giving us great memories and we will for sure keep coming back again. And Steve- you've definitely made the thought about joining your Throwing league a very big possibility between the both of us. Thank you!
To all who has read - Lumberjack Johnny's in Ashwaubenon is a 'hidden' gem that I would recommend any time I talk with people trying to find somthing to do. Especially since they recently opened up their back patio area for live music! Check them out and say Hi- any and all questions were always answered in a respectful manner, 10/10...
Read moreGreat little place for pinball. Not as big as the one in Appleton, but they have a really good selection of well maintained pinball machines that take both bills and quarters, several of which are limited edition models, along with a TV with Stern Insider Connected leaderboards. There's a good selection of beer served by very friendly staff. Can't comment on anything other than the beer, service and pinball, but my wife and I had a great time and we'll definitely be back. Also looking forward to eventually checking out the other location...
Read moreI was disappointed that you don't allow throwers under 16. My sons and I have thrown over the last 2 years at 2 locations of blades and boards, tapped on the Lakeshore, and at kick axe. All of those places allowed for younger throwers. I hope you take that in to consideration, because we can't throw at your location for...
