Annie's Saloon — Restaurant in Astoria

Not impressed. Local dive bar. I walked in. No one greeted me. It was standing room only. 20 minutes to get a beer if you could get to the bar past the locals. Girls were pretty. Stage had no seating. Was hard to get too. I was there 5 minutes maybe. No one said boo to me. I had a $50 bill in hand. Sorry I wasn't a local with all the customs and procedures already mastered. Only Locals and Staff holding this place above 4 stars. Horrible experience.

Bartender was extremely rude. Ignored me for almost 10 minutes with less than 3 people at the bar. When she finally acknowledged my presence she said in a "matter of fact" tone that the girls wanted to close early so they weren't serving anymore. It was 11:20pm. Bar hours are posted till 2am. At least I didn't have to spend any money to give this place a one...

I am all for an old dingy bar, but this place I’d skip. It’s poorly run place with unfriendly staff.

When I asked about last call, they said 10pm. Came back to order a drink at 10 minutes till 10, was ignored for several minutes with no one else at the bar top and was then told very matter of fact- “it’s 10 we stopped serving”.

Must be some loyal locals that keep the ratings on this place high because...
