We came here last week, and it was so ridiculously good that we had to come back a second time just to confirm it wasn’t a delicious fever dream. (Spoiler: it’s even better the second time!)
We tried the short ribs, chicken, and beef — every bite was juicy, smoky, and chef’s kiss perfection. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, the owner handed us some poke that was so ono it deserves its own standing ovation. 🥹🍣

Well I screwed up!!! I did not take a picture of the master piece frank made me!!! I ordered up a poke bowl to enjoy while I listen to the tunes then I ordered the bbq platter to take back to my hotel room for dinner.... Let me just say I have been to Hawaii a few times and if you told me all you have to do is go down to Astoria and hit up this little local food truck for the best poke bowl I would have said your nuts... But OH MY GOD!!! The poke bowl is the best most amazing poke bowl I have ever had!!!! The bbq platter was phenomena also but the poke bowl is hands down the star. Wow, where do i start?:) first off, we as a community are so lucky to have such amazing food options, for a town of Astoria’s size we are far ahead of most! Everyone needs some Hawaiian BBQ in their lives:) The Tuimato Family was one of the first families i met when i moved back to Astoria, they took me in and i truly consider them family! I know everyone that eats here understands the kind of people they are, they hug everyone and make you feel like family! The food is OUTSTANDING, I’ve had it all and im here to tell you they NEVER miss! I feel lucky to live where i live and it’s a true plus having this spot in our community!
