Let me just start off by saying that the loft and its staff are a cut above. The building is stunning with not only the modern updates and decor but also the rustic beauty. The location and history that surrounds this icon make it that much more special. I reserved the loft this past August 19th 2017 as my reception venue. The staff are friendly, helpful and very professional ; not only with thier presence but also in attire. They stay around throughout your time there but are behind the scenes if for some reason you may need them for something. A special thanks to Jessica Newhall for all of your patience in working with us and your second in command. She was superb! From the first time my wife and I visited Astoria, we were walking by the red building as a couple were celebrating thier wedding and she told me " Some day I'd like to get married and maybe have my reception in a place like this." I knew at that moment that I had to book it for our wedding because I want nothing more than to give her the most special memory in the place we truly fell in love. Our friends and family were blown away at how beautiful the venue was and how special the day was at The Loft! We had just the most beautiful experience from the first meeting to the big event. Read moreMy company recently had an event at the Loft with 160 attendees. We were extremely pleased with the venue and staff. It's an amazing location and we used one of their preferred caterers which allowed the usage of the Loft's dishes & cutlery included in the venue rental fee. We had exceptional assistance from Brandon who was our event event coordinator. While doing a final walk through, the afternoon before our event, one of my coworkers said he wished we had a professional photographer for the event. Brandon whipped out his phone and texted a photographer et voila! , we booked Kylie, (also a Loft event coordinator), who also did a great job for us at the event.
