Kick Ass Koffee — Restaurant in Astoria

I’ve visited this drive through coffee shop almost 10 times now (9 punches on my card lol) I believe that the prices for breakfast items and drinks are quite reasonable. I have gone to other bigger named places and spent more for less quality. I do recommend stopping by. The only partly negative thing I personally experienced was when a lady taking my order (that I hadn’t seen before) snapped at me. I usually try to look at the google pop up of places that don’t have menus and for a very long while I genuinely assumed the pictures of different flavors were what this location had. Honestly who wouldn’t if it’s listed in the pictures shown when you GPS. But anyways I just felt there was possibly a nicer way of saying that the picture wasn’t meant for this location and it’s inaccurate. I can assume that it probably was happening alot and that may have been why I was snapped at. And I can understand how that could be frustrating. I just didn’t feel that was the best way to handle a customer thats all.

*Update June 2025- Ive made this my must stop, passing thru, a couple more times now. If I lived in Astoria, this would be my go to. Same greatness every time. I love it!

Sept 2022- Kick Ass People! Got to meet the owner, down to earth, friendly, knows his stuff. Let me taste a great bacon bagel. The gal working, pretty much the same just a softer version. Introduced me to white espresso, it's sweeter, more nutty. Learned I prefer regular espresso, I like more bitter than sweet. But flavor and feel, the coffee was great. Tasted smooth, and did not leave an acidic feel We went back thru after, when there was no line, so I could ask more questions for future orders, cuz this will be a coffee stop again on travels as I travel the coast about once a year or so.

If you ever have issues, just talk to them. Super open to help and resolve. The gal was willing to remake me a coffee with regular expresso. I decline solely cuz the white espresso was a learning experience, now I know. I loved how informative and helpful she...

My daughter and I went there three separate times in 36 hours with the same 2 drink order, and were charged 3 vastly different prices ($5.25-$8), and the third time we were treated so rudely that we will never return. I get that when you are truly busy that it's hard to get chatty with each customer, but three cars really isn't all that busy, and I feel like training your employees to know what to charge for a drink should be fairly standard before leaving them alone.
