Today in our way to Yosemite from Pismo Beach we stopped at this cozy, traditional yet exceptional restaurant. First, let’s start with the welcoming greeting from “Ale” the owner and his husband “Nacho”. They are so happy to serve their customers like of you were the center of the universe. That’s how we felt. Now, let’s review our breakfast options. 1. Chilaquiles mixtos (rojo y verde). Platillo espectacular. Una sensación de frescura y sabor. 2. Burrito mixto. Huugeee inside and flavor. 3. Desayuno mexicano. Huevos revueltos con tocineta, frijoles y chilaquiles. All the dishes were really but really good. Not to mention the delicious hot chocolates and the cold cold ass long neck Corona beer! What really made this visit unforgettable was the undivided attention from both owners who came to check on us often with the greatest energy and kindness. Shall we come around this area again we will absolutely and totally go out of our ways to enjoy the experience of dining at Ales place again. Ale's is one of those places that I always leave feeling well fed and happy. The food is fantastic, the service is friendly and makes you feel like family. My go-to item is the burrito bowl. I have a gluten allergy, and so when I saw this, I was excited to try it. It's loaded with flavor! My favorite meat to add is the chili verde, but everything I've tried has been fantastic. (But seriously, that chili verde is next level!) My husband loves getting the Carne asada fries (this time he got them with carnitas), or the California burrito.
