I'm giving this location a 1 because I will not be tip-shamed. You buy an overpriced beverage because it tastes awesome. After all, you want to indulge sometimes. If you like the place you indulge a bit more and become a regular customer - which I became. However, every time I visited I was asked to select an amount for a tip. I've worked as a waitress, for $2.13/hr to take an order, review it for accuracy, fill/refill drinks, serve the food, take the payment, and clear the table. I expected to receive a tip and most of the time I did because I earned it. I used that money to go to college. The employees at Dutch Bros are being paid over $10/hr for just taking a drink order and are asking each customer to leave a tip. I'm ok with a tip jar so I can leave a tip if compelled but they ask when they take the order and they also have a tip jar at the window. I felt uneasy after being asked every time so I loaded a specific tip to the app for an under $5 purchase - no $0 was not an option so I chose $1. Finally, ready to have a pleasant experience and indulge I went with a tip loaded, and guess what - they still asked if I wanted to leave a tip! I said it should be preloaded and then she said "So, just the dollar then?" !!! Woah, wait, really - just the dollar? I still can't believe it. I wanted to say, no, now that you asked I'll take the $0 back. Even though I was a new regular and I earned my first free drink I have to say--give it to your tip-pushing staff because no matter how good your drinks are I will not be giving any additional money to this mentality....
Read moreI was very excited to see a Dutch Bros pop up at my local neighborhood but that excitement was short lived. I arrived at 5:50pm on memorial day and the line was a modest 6 plus cars ahead of me. I was not alarmed due to my experience at other Dutch Bros. I was expecting an outside order taker to arrive soon to address this longer line. To my surprise that never happened, each patron was expected to order at the check out window… When I arrived at the check out window some 25 minutes later I was expecting just one person doing all the work. However, there were three people working, not once did they think to get outside to take more orders. I order my one drink and I noticed the lid on my HOT drink was lopsided, my mistake was trusting the young lady making the drink to fix it. When the drink was handed to me it spilled all over left hand and on the hands of the young man. I wasn’t even angry at him, poor man was holding up the place. The young lady not only didn’t say sorry she forced the young man to redo the drink! He was already taking the drink orders and checking people out, now he was making the drinks too. All while this was happening there was a third girl that was doing absolutely nothing. Good god, I hope this place gets their employees into shape. Read moreI’ve been to 5 different Dutch locations and this one is the most disappointing one. It’s the closest to my house avoiding traffic so I’ve given it several chances with no luck. I’ve ordered the dinosaur egg blended rebel and always ask for extra unicorn blood float. Other locations get this right and my pink unicorn blood floats nicely on the top just like the picture. This is the only location that I don’t see the unicorn blood at all bottom or top. I’ve asked and all they say is it sinks to the bottom but I don’t even see it at the bottom. Another time I asked for a blended rebel medium size, the cup was not filled properly. This past Saturday I ordered a candied cherry blended rebel and when I got to my order it was completely melted. I told the girl “it’s melted” and they didn’t even acknowledge me. They kept taking orders on foot to the cars behind me and I just left. Last night my husband went and ordered a blue lagoon fizz and they gave him a red drink no bobba just strawberry. They didn’t tell him if maybe they were out of flavors or bobba. They just gave him what they wanted no explanations. We are very disappointed with this location. They had started off fine and been horrible the last couple months.
