Mueller's Lockeroom — Restaurant in Atchison

Waitress took our drink order pretty quick, then never came back to our table, after 13 minutes we were able to flag her down to order food. She said she forgot about us. My husband started a timer after ordering our food. After waiting 38 minutes we were able to flag her down again and I asked how long till our food was ready, she went to the back and stayed there. 47 minutes after ordering someone else brought food for 2 people at our table there were 5 of us. Another 8 minutes and the rest of us got food, the order wasn't right. I ordered grilled cheese, it was cold cheese between dry toasted bread. I have pictures. I told our waitress, she said she would take care of it. She said they were the only place open today because of Labor Day and they had a new cook in the kitchen. They were not the only place open! I NEVER got a grilled cheese, she brought the bill to our table and said she took the grilled cheese off the bill, and a 10% discount for our wait. I asked to speak to the manager (guess what?? She was the manager). She said the Boss, Bob was there, so I asked to speak with him. She said it would be awhile, after waiting several more minutes we left. Service was horrible. First time and didn't know if I was suppose to wait for seating or go sit someplace. Finally just down at the bar. Had a few servers walk by and finally one stopped and asked if I had been helped. When I said know no she kinda just stood there looking at me. Then she asked if I wanted to order something. Mind you no meau in front of me or anything. She finally just pulled a tote thing near me and walked off, no drink offering water nothing. Another server took my order and still waited a good 30 or so minutes before receiving my order. A reuben w fries. Not sure what sauce was on it but a reuben comes w thousand island on the sandwich not just a pouch that you put on yourself. Not even sure U will even give this place...

I am a graduate of Atchison and returned today for a funeral. I am a disabled veteran and had my service dog with me. We just flew in from the east coast and wanted the wings. It’s tradition. I was approached by some young kid wanting to know if I had papers on the dog. Then he proceeded to ask me what he was trained for. He just kept standing there, then eventually the “owner” came over with him wanting to know where his vest was. All of this is illegal and was harassment!
