Burger King — Restaurant in Athens

Legit worst Burger King I've ever been to. Not really, but pretty close. Went in the drive through at 6:40 p.m tonight and the first person at the first window was ok did her job took money handed back change so nothing against her. Second window, legit this girl handed me a bag with all our order ( food for a family of 5 ) shoved all in one bag & didnt make eye contact, didnt say not ONE word. Shoved the bag in my hand an immediately shut the window in my face. Sat in the window for a moment to make sure it was correct because for all I know that's not the whole order because she had NO communication with me . I counted & made sure enough fries an burgers then drove home assuming I had everything because the person at the drive through that closed the window saw us and didnt bother to open it back up to make sure everything was ok or if we needed anything , I let it go because it's a drive through, you get what you pay for. ( I live 2 mins away ) really a neighborhood near this bk . Food was cold , cheese wasn't even melted on the burgers. Fries gross really old an cold . I have a family of 5 , including toddlers that are crying they are hungry and couldn't even go back to get them re made if I wanted to. Ended up heating up cold old food for dinner. Just moved to athens and now I know not to go to this location. Thanks. 🙄🙄 annoying because I've worked in fast food an restaurants etc an I wont say names because I dont want to be that person but overall sucked, dont waist your money at this location an if you do make sure your food is hot before u drive off an knock on the window to get the attention of whoever slammes the window door shut . This place is dirty. Even after a remodel, employees do not take responsibility for cleanliness and their health score reflects it. A male manager on the heavier side actually served me in the drive-thru. He brought my food to the window with the top four buttons of his shirt open...chest hair everywhere. Four buttons! One more button and I would have gotten a glimpse of his belly button. I still don't know what that was about! They also had an 88 health score.

Of course, I threw the food out and my kids and I went somewhere else. This location's score is consistently hovering in the high eighties or low nineties. Pro tip folks: this is flirting with scores that require repeat visits from the Health Dept (a few less and it requires a shutdown)....eat places with 95 and above scores. I've worked in fast food and seen crazy things...people dropping food on the floor and serving it, restaurants with rats or roaches...even with all that never did any of the places score in the 80's. I can only imagine how nasty it must be to get those scores.

I've keep trying it over the last few years, but it is always bad.This is a convenient location, right on the highway. It would really save me at times, when I need a fast meal. However, I would go hungry first before stopping here for a bite of food. If you have a strong immune...

Burger King I didn't like because there was smoked up I couldn't breathe the cashiers would there woodlice and everything but it would just too Smokey and it's just like I was holding my breath the whole time I was there and the food was very cold and when asked me my money I spec for my food to be hot when I get it and so that's one reason I did not like it and if it's going to be that way all the time then I will not bring my family back and I will not tell my friends to go there at Downs Brett to go into a restaurant that is smoked up and then you can upgrade and then when you come out of there it is like as a whole different story you can read and your lungs you getting fresh air that just was not right for a restaurant to be like that you only need to get some type of hair open the ceiling or something or the smoke can go out of it cos I know the lot of people talked about it I think that was that was really right for their the coworkers to be reading all that also but you owners need to get that fixed or the smoking go out instead of Ian...
