I've been to Inspire Kitchen 5 times and my experience was progressive worse through my last and final visit. I live in the area and the location is very convenient, however not worth the poor customer service, technology limitations, and overall lack of regard for the consumer. Provided below are a few of my issues with Inspire Kitchen, which is a solid concept that unfortunately has a flawed delivery model.
Vending machine/apparatus is faulty: The vending machine like apparatus that houses the various orders requires the customer to enter their first name and first initial of their last name in order to open the glassdoor to the compartment where their food is being stored. 4 of the 5 times I went to the location this system didn't work. The combination of first name and first initial of customer last name didn't register and a different variation was required (e.g. first and last name) or it wasn't working at all and a staff member handed me the order.
Limited Staff: The location attempts to utilize a self-service model (retrieve order from vending machine and leave or eat in the sitting area), which is an issue due problems with orders (3 of 5 my orders were missing items) and the vending machine not working. Additionally, the employees at the restaurant are trained to prepare food, not interact with customers.
Customer Service isn't a priority: When I had to interact with the staff, they were less than polite or attentive to the issue I was experiencing. The last (final) time I went to pick-up my order. I arrived a couples minutes after the time the confirmation email indicated my order would be ready. Upon checking the vending machine, my order wasn't in one of the vending machine slots. I waited 15 minutes, watching as other orders were added to the vending machine and still no order. I then got the attention of a staff member and politely asked about my order and they informed me it was being prepared (his attitude and nonverbal communication was good ideal). I waited 20 minutes longer and asked a different staff member and was informed "the orders are coming in late and we're backed up". She then went to check on my order and it was just received. Five minutes later, the young man that informed me the order was being prepared came back to the counter/window and I asked what happened to my order that he stated was being prepared. He goes to check on it... This type of interaction continued, followed by me waiting (I eventually asked to cancel the order, they inform me it can't be done onsite/has to be completed online). Ultimately, it took them almost 1.5. hours to...
This was a kind of cool, albeit confusing experience (for the Arby’s). I placed my mobile order on their website. The food was fresh and hot upon pick-up, ready just a few minutes after the time the website told me it would be, and the pick-up worked similar to an Amazon Hub Locker pick-up. Also, they have restrooms around the left corner, and they were wonderfully clean! However, the downsides were that no tarter sauce was included with my fried fish (as was stated would automatically be included during the online ordering process), no condiments were sitting out for self-service in that capacity, and no actual person was available to request such from. Plus, my Arby’s Classic Beef ‘N Cheddar sandwich was Very dry; lots of roast beef, but Very little cheddar sauce and Arby’s sauce, smh…So overall, I’d prefer a traditional restaurant experience with staff available to speak with for any additional assistance required…But, not a bad experience, all...
Read moreHi everyone, I came through earlier to get something nice and warm, and saw that there was a Sonic’s nearby… drove up to this super cool industrial building and went in, didn’t seem like a sonic to me not gonna lie! But it was lol. Anyway, I ordered my food and was opening it up in their lobby to chow down, it was gosh dang good. Looked literally like the image they use in advertisements. Same for the drink and tater tots, full to the brim. Nd while I was eating, several people that were inside had questions or issues, but the workers here were so nice and helped them out IMMEDIATELY. Asked for a couple of their names to give them a shoutout, and I’m so sorry if I butcher the name, but Lakeisha and Jordan were great. So were the other 3 people working, just good atmosphere here. Use this on a future job application sheet, because I’d come here again just for THEIR service if only I lived...
