f you want your food on time, think again. If you want a business that takes responsibility when they screw up, think again. Ordered food off grubhub at 11:20 A.M. so I could enjoy a nice lazy Saturday of Chinese food and football. Was supposed to arrive at 12:10 and grubhub confirmed that the driver had it out for delivery at that time. Come 1:10 P.M., I call to inquire where my food is and they said they would call me back. Another 10 minutes pass and they don't so I call again. They said then that grubhub never sent them the confirmation and refused to provide any re-compensation. I explained I had been a customer in the past if they wished to have me be a customer in the future then they should comp the food, since they are over an hour late. They refused to consider it and were very rude, blaming the system instead of taking responsibility as grubhub alerts you when the driver is on the way and that was over an hour before I called (live 5 minutes away). I have no qualms about the food but will never order again from a business that disrespects the customer in this fashion. Grubhub ended up calling me to apologize and describe how they called the business and the business refused to take responsibility even though grubhub had in fact sent the confirmation and had proof in their system, and therefore grubhub comped me some free grub, because that is what businesses should do when...
Read moreI honestly expected much more. Probably the most unflavorful lo mein I’ve ever had, with the “pork” being thin stringly jiblits that lacked taste. The chicken fried rice was similarly disappointing. On top of this, I was supposed to get a pork egg roll but they gave me a shrimp one. I’m allergic to shrimp. This is a pretty big detail to overlook for a kitchen staff you would expect to be attentive. In addition to these items, I added the wonton/egg drop soup to my order. I’d give it a 3/5, nothing impressive but not bad. However, they didn’t properly put on the lid of my soup when they put it in the bag, so it leaked quite a bit as I brought it home. To really make matters worse, there was none of the standards you’d expect to find in your bag when you get chinese takeout. No sauces of any kind, no utensils, no napkins, not even a fortune cookie. And the wonton soup didn’t have any fried noodles like pretty much everywhere else provides. While the lady at the counter was a great cashier and deserves to be recognized for it, that alone doesn’t make up for the lack of genuine effort going on in the kitchen, and they need to seriously rethink their strategies cause this bland excuse of a meal has turned me off to ever wanting to return back when I know I can get much better options for the same amount of money all...
