Krabs Hut — Restaurant in Atlanta

I didn’t want to have to write this review, tried to give them a second chance. Mistake. I’ve only ordered two times from this place and both times they messed my order up. No, my orders weren’t even complicated, so I thought. And don’t think you will get a replacement meal or refund. Cause they apparently don’t do that. I did not complain the first time but the second time I had to say something. They asked what they could do to better my experience, I asked for a refund but they couldn’t even do that. Tried to get me to have to pay again and throw in a free potato and corn. After telling them this was my second time with a messed up order and that I did NOT wanna come back they they said they’re was nothing they could do. Claim I wasn’t being fair as if I didn’t pay for something I didn’t even ask for. Would not suggest this place to anyone else. They hung up in my face twice and spoke in different languages to each other on the phone with me. I spent over $30 here and they didn’t even wanna give half my money back. I hate that I had to leave this review but I was left no choice. Terrible customer service. I work in fast food industry myself and no matter what the case of a customer wasn’t satisfied and simply wanted their money back it would be no problem. But here, they want to argue you down that “it’s not fair”. Just ridiculous. I wish anyone else who wants to order from...

I visited this place on Saturday evening. I had been craving some crabs for a while and decided to try them again. Before I get into the food, I will say the lady at the front counter is very pleasant and I appreciated that. I ordered the snow crab cluster and shrimp combo which came with corn and two red potatoes. I got the house special sauce which is a mix of all the sauces they offer, and I asked for hot. The sauce spice level was more of a medium but had a good flavor. The issue I have is that though the sauce was flavorful the food itself was not. They simply boiled everything in water, put it in a bag and then poured the sauce in the bag on top. Even with the sauce on everything, I could still taste the blandness of the food itself. It was very disappointing as I was really craving a flavorful seafood dish. At minimum they should salt the water that they’re cooking...

I was a bit unsure of whether or not to order seafood from a sketchier area of ATL but was pleasantly surprised. The fries were on par with something you'd find at Checkers / Rallys. The shrimp po'boy was pretty tasty. Very nice soft baguette, shrimp was decent quality with a nice coating, lettuce was pretty fresh, my only real complaint is that the sauce tasted like straight sugar. In my opinion they should add something cajun like a spicy mayo vs something that resembles more like French dressing but people around here love their sugar. I will 100% be ordering again and will update my review accordingly. At the moment I'm giving it 4 stars only because I haven't tried more...
