I called the restaurant around 4:15 pm and spoke to a woman named to Delores. I asked her if the dining room area was open for me to place an order to go. She informed me that it was open until 11:30 pm. The doors would not be locked upon my arrival. When I go to the location, I go inside and try to place an order but I am immediately stopped by a cook / employee. He told me the dining area was closed. I looked at him and said I just spoke to someone on the phone today and they assured me it would be open. He then repeated that the dining area was closed. So then I proceed to leave. As I am leaving, he stops me and asks if I have cash. I say no. He says he can only take cash because their card reader terminal was not operational. I mean seriously this is ridiculous! I will not be doing any business at any location in Georgia. Pretty soon, it will be all Popeye's in general because I don't like doing business with shoddy operations and employees that tell me a false narrative of what is actually taking place with their establishment. We then proceeded to the drive thru and was told to pull up to the door and wait as our order was not ready. 20 minutes later (after several vehicles behind us received their order and pulled around us) we went inside to inquiry as to the status of our order and was told that they had not received our payment! I showed the Manager the receipt I received from Popeye's for the order and was told that there was nothing she could do because she did not get a copy of the receipt I was showing her on my phone, and I would have to take up my issue with the APP OWNER! After several very rude exchanges with this Manager, an employee finally produced the receipt. Needless to say the Manager did not apologize nor offer any explanation for the obvious miscommunication. I reported this store to the corporate office and was issued an immediate refund for my order. Don't waste your time with a apparently "ghetto mentality" ran store! Read moreIf I could give them 0 stars I would I went at 10:33pm and I ordered some food that cost $10.00 even and I gave the cashier that was working there last night at the drive through window a 20 dollar bill and she gave me my receipt and she didn’t give the change back. Which was $10.00. I told her that she didn’t give me my change she argued that she did and I told her no she didn’t she said that I could pull up the side so the manager could talk with me and I said no because you made a mistake on the receipt. You put in saying that I gave you a ten dollar bill and that was lie. I gave her a 20 dollar bill. Which she told her manger that I gave her a ten dollar bill. She changed up the story knowing that I gave her a 20 dollar bill. She also argued that I dropped the change. So which one was it did I give her a 20 dollar bill or a 10 dollar bill. If that was the case she should’ve never said that she gave me the change knowing that I supposedly gave her a ten dollar bill even!😂 The manager ended up giving my change back but she threw at me.
