K & K Soul Food — Restaurant in Atlanta

I went to GA with my boyfriend for my bday weekend, and had taste for a good country, homemade meal. I decided to try K & K , and let me say : I definitely made the right choice! From the food, the customer service, the price , the cleanliness… everything was AMAZING ! The line was long, but it moved really fast so the wait wasn’t long at all. There was so many good options to choose from , we couldn’t decide so we ordered an extra plate for the both of us (BIG BACK SEASON 😂). They also give you a large proportion of food (so we had plenty food to take to the AIRBNB & eat later ). We were so full we went straight to sleep after we left. Also, My boyfriend accidentally left his phone at K&K & we didn’t realize it until that night, but they were already closed. They were closed the following day too (the day we came back home which was 5 hours away). So 2 days later, we called K&K to see if anyone turned in a phone & they said YES! They found it while cleaning the tables. The employees put it up for us. We wouldnt have had time to go back & get the phone because of our work schedules colliding with their business hours.. . K&K was kind enough to even mail him his phone 💛 It’s hard to find really good all-around restaurants these days, but K&K is one of the best restaurants I’ve been too in a loooong time. I’ll definitely be back the next time I come to GEORGIA....

I Would give This black so called owned business no stars if I could, it’s so sad how we treat each other !! Went into this establishment and received some of the worst customer service and packaging ever first off they over charged me because the lack of comprehension at ordering from the line all the way to the size of drink I wanted then received my food in a broken tray that I just spent $19 on why would you pass a customer a broken tray ?? Yes presentation is everything especially when dealing with food !! They are giving people cheap made trays and cheap made cups which fell right out of my hand while exiting . They tall skinny guy with a very unprofessional and unfriendly face who looked annoyed with the register he was standing in front of and the fact that I asked for a additional tray to put my food in he was the one to approach me again I told him I just dropped my drink on the way out it just folded in my hand he makes the drink with a attitude and then tried to charge me a additional price for the drink that he watched drop at the door but a nice customer bought me the drink because he seen how rude the boy was being ..God is good though !!! would not recommend to anyone wow this use to be one of my favorite...

The food here has always been good but the service I received this past Friday ensures I won't ever return. I was waiting in line with my boyfriend and when my turn came I ordered my food. The young lady serving me asked if that was all I was having and I told her yes. She then began serving the person behind my boyfriend. Now, my boyfriend is 6'5 (read: IMPOSSIBLE TO MISS). We both jokingly informed her that hey... You skipped the biggest person in the room. She said "Well I asked her if that was all." I said, "Yes, that was all FOR ME." I've never been in a situation where anyone thought that I was speaking for another person... without at the very least clarifying with the other person if I was speaking for them...in a buffet line, no less. Long story short, because they served 2 other people ahead of my boyfriend, the item he wanted (regular bacon instead of country bacon) was no longer available. At this point we decided to leave and WILL NOT be back. They didn't even have the decency to apologize and the young lady who made the error in the first place just rolled her eyes and continued to serve the customer who had initially been behind us. No acknowledgement that she made a mistake WHATSOEVER....
