Rating: 10/10 If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Ti’s Trap City Cafe is a must-visit! From the moment we walked in, we were met with warm vibes, delicious aromas, and an inviting atmosphere that defies its “trap” name. Here’s the rundown on what we tried: Food: 1. Spinach Dip: Let me tell you—this was the freaking bomb! The creamy dip paired with perfectly toasted herb crostini was an absolute game-changer. I honestly don’t think I can go back to eating spinach dip with chips or regular bread ever again (no joke, lmbo)! 2. Trap Star Sampler: This is a must-have for groups! Ti did not hold back on portion sizes here; this platter is more than enough to pass for an entree. Be careful not to over-indulge—there’s a real risk you’ll fill up before you get to your main course! 3. Whiting Fish & Grits: The flavors here were on point! The grits were silky smooth with just the right amount of creaminess, and they carried the smoky, savory, and cajun flavors beautifully. Two big pieces of crispy, golden-battered fish sealed the deal. Every bite was pure joy! Drinks: • Gucci Mane Green Tea and City Girl Sangria were both solid drink choices. Refreshing and flavorful without being too heavy, they complemented the meal perfectly. Customer Service: Erin, our server, was a delight—attentive, friendly, and full of positive energy. Plus, the manager on duty (around 7 pm on 11/12/2024) was super professional and welcoming. This place clearly values excellent service. Shoutout to the Cooks: Whoever’s in the kitchen is not playing around—these chefs are throwing down! The flavors, the presentation, everything was on point. You can tell Ti’s got some serious talent curating this menu. Overall Environment: Don’t let the name fool you—the vibe here is far from “trap” in the traditional sense. It’s fun, interactive, laid-back, and perfect for all occasions. The crowd was friendly, professional, and welcoming. Honestly, I felt so proud of Ti, like I personally knew him! Final Verdict: 10/10, highly recommend. Whether you’re coming in for a quick bite, drinks with friends, or a special night out, Ti’s Trap City Cafe has something for everyone. Bravo, Ti—this place is a certified hit!

Sunday Jan 27 2:30 pm . FYI It is $20 to park. When we walked in, it was much smaller than I expected. The hostess Keira was very nice pleasant and welcoming, as we approached. It’s not real classy, a small, typical restaurant. I love the pictures on the wall, however, it smell of sewage so the hostess moved us to a different table. The first waitress informed us that the cook had arrived not too long ago and all they were serving were chicken and waffles or chicken and fries. We were very upset as we drove almost 2 hours away. We told her give us a minute so we could decide. As we were waiting, two men across from us had lamb chops and collard greens brought to their table, serve by a different waitress. When that waitress who was very nice and pleasant, greeted us and asked if we were OK. (We never got the same response from our original waitress) We told her that we were upset that only chicken and waffles were being served at the moment and How was her table able to get lamb chops? She told me not to worry and They were serving more than just chicken and waffles. My friend asked her if she would be our waitress because we loved her demeanor from the jump. This beautiful soul name is TT. She took excellent care of us. I ordered the Shawty Lo lamb chops, which were delicious and the sauce was spectacular. I had the future baby mama drink which was strong. My friend had the chicken and waffles and she said the chicken was delicious. Afterwards we visited the trap museum and that was so much fun. I give a five out of 10. I did expect more being that TI and Tiny owns it. Also, the valet guys were very nice and welcoming aling with security he was very funny and kept a smiling as we walked in. That’s a big plus the only thing that made this rating a three was our original server, which I was told she was new and her being dishonest with us about the kitchen, ONLY serving chicken and waffles and fries!

Visit 9/26/24 I ordered a drink, Not yo Baby Mama, it came with Orange Juice, I sub with cranberry, and my friend ordered cranberry juice and peach(she doesn’t drink alcohol) I tasted my drink, it tasted like a cup of cranberry juice, I ask the waitress is it possible the drinks are mixed up, she assured us twice that there were not. I ask if it could be remade, she said no. At this point my friend was afraid to drink her mock tail drink it may have alcohol even though the waitress Kay said they were not. I asked for a manager she comes back and say the manager is busy. So I ended up tasting my friends drink because she was scared to taste it and sure enough the drinks had been mixed up and she had the alcohol drink even though the waitress was very adamant they were not mixed up and she could not remake my drink. Now that the mystery was solved no help of the wrong waitress or the bad customer service manager which by the way never came out to check the problem after almost 2hrs we were there at least to ask how the food was, which also was not that good. I ordered Turkey Burger, a lil bigger the a slider and dry, fries look like the came from the bottom of the bag, I guess all they care about is the money, forget about how your food or drinks was, or health of my friend that has never drank alcohol ever in her 58yrs of life. Basically just pay your bill and leave👎 Bad Customer Service !! Also, we were charged $20 parking and I seen other customer reviews saying they paid $10 parking, this is clearly a money Hungary business, not there fir customer service or good food.

5/1/24 was my second time at this establishment and I was disappointed. I wasn't too impressed with the first experience back in 2023, but everyone deserves a second chance. However, after May 1st shenanigans, I will never return.

First of all, my friends got there at 4p, I arrived a little later around 4:30p on a Wednesday (mind you, this place opened at 1p) and there was NO music playing...it was sheer silence! Which was odd for an environment titled "Trap City". We didn't think much of it as there was a 40+ yr old crowd present at the time and perhaps that setting was more accommodating to conversation for them.

Next, there was a bar waitress who gave one of my friends a menu when she first got there. The menu displayed their BLAND clean/dirty alfredo as "$18 for veggies and $22 for salmon or shrimp". Ok cool. Plz note the waitress WATCHED ME FLIP THRU THAT MENU 3-4 TIMES! I even asked her to point out her fave drink to me and she mentioned the "Future BM" drink which I decided to go wit. (Drink wasn't hittin' on NUN to be titled that and to have contained liquor smh). I go with the dirty alfredo w/ salmon for $22 right???......WRONG!!!!

Do y'all know the waitress only took our order, brought the food out with some hot sauce, we had to wait over 10 minutes for some Sprite that was going to come in one of those small plastic 'church picnic' clear cups (because TI wanted $5 for a raggedy bottled water) and we waited so ridiculously long for the Sprite, the waitress said "Oh its coming they're looking for cups in the back...". I thought that was crazy but didn't trip. She finally came w/ the Sprite. Do y'all know it was SELTZER WATER/CLUB SODA?? Like no Sprite syrup in sight. We told her don't charge us for that and moved on- THIRSTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! with the rest of our lunch experience here. Please note that after the Sprite foolishness, she never came back to pick up our plates or to check to see if we wanted something else. Next time she was spotted- she was asking if we wanted the bill. That's wild, TIP.

The final straw was at the end the waitress is going to hand me a ticket for $28 for salmon alfredo that was supposed to be $22. I ask her about the price discrepancy, all of a sudden, she picks up this DUST sprinkled napkin box and says "Oh, the menu price isn't accurate- the QR code is and its $28 for salmon or shrimp". Girl HUH?!?!?!?!?!?! Once I point out the fact that she never said that when we were searching for drinks and asking questions about items at the beginning of this HOOD experience, she was like "I wasn't the one who gave you that menu in the first place, I am not liable" wait wait...isn't a waitress supposed to educate patrons about something like that? A simple heads up to scan the QR code would have been appropriate, but instead you looking at the same menu I am looking at, KNOWING that I am convinced that this is accurate and when I question the price you curl your tiny lips to say something asinine.....and on top of that Trap City Cafe FORCES 20% GRATUITY OUTCHA FOR SUB PAR SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those waitresses KNOW they're getting paid regardless, so they are NOT motivated to truly serve. It is sad.

Last note: WHEN I TELL YALL THAT ALFREDO WAS SO SIMPLE MY 5-YEAR-OLD COULD HAVE MADE IT!!!! NO VEGGIES, NUN, JUST SOME PASTA SPREAD AROUND A PLATE, PAIRED W/ A WILTED PIECE OF PARSLEY AND 1/4 PIECE OF SALMON. Then when we mentioned that for $28, they could've thrown some broccoli in that thang, she said "No one asked for veggies, that is another upcharge".... LOL! What a laughable waitress, service, atmosphere and experience.

GO AT YOUR OWN RISK BUT IF YK WHAT'S BEST FOR YOU...GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!...

Wow, what an experience this was. One that I will never forget. Let’s capture the beginning to the end. When we arrived, we had to pay $20 to park and that was for whether or not you valeted or self parked. We made reservations well in advance, but still had to wait 15 minutes. Once we set at our table we were greeted nicely by our waitress.

Now let’s get into the menu. I ordered a sangria that cost $15 dollars that came in a very small cup. The cup was one I use at home to pour my own little wine. The sangria was not giving at all. On to the Lukewarm food, starting with the appetizers. We order the spinach dip, fried green tomatoes and fried broccoli. The dip was barely okay. Spinach dip should be served hot and right out of the oven. The fried green tomatoes and fried broccoli was average. Again, anything fried should be served hot. Two of my friends ordered wings. The wings was so beyond tiny that you needed 3 wings to make one. One of my friends originally wanted snapper, but didn’t find out the restaurant was out until ordering her entree. Now that should have been mentioned the moment we set down.

On the other hand, my other friend ordered the lollipop lamb-chops. Now TI should be ashamed for serving 3 little lamb chops and charging $30. We got tiny portions and over paid. I mean McDonalds happy meal comes with more food than what was served and you get a toy. And oh, what I ordered you may wonder…… LOL. I ordered the salmon croquettes. That did not arrive when everyone else’s food arrived. Everyone I was with received their Lukewarm food late, but was at least able to finish tasting their foods (the portion sizes so small that tasting food is what you are literally doing). The waitress did not even take note that I didn’t have my food. The manager who walked around I guess for show because she offered no solutions, had to ask me what I ordered. It was literally time to go, by the time my food came out. I had to ask them to pack it up.

The manager offered no accommodations and I still had to pay for something I never even got the chance to eat. The waitress tried to tell me everything was made fresh so it takes time, well if it was so fresh then why was everything giving Lukewarm all night. I still didn’t eat the food.

I went to JR crickets (my favorite wing spot) just to try to satisfy myself. TI restaurant “Trap City Cafe” was a horrible experience. I would never go again, and will spread the word to everyone I know not to go. Poor service, horrible food sizes, mediocre food, and pitiful drinks.

Let me just say that in this economy, I work too hard to waste my coins on poorly behaved establishments. I’m tired of social media overhyping everything too. The video I saw on YouTube showed a wonderful experience. That is not real life. Also, I’m tired of these celebrities opening businesses, but lacking everything that comes with business or not hiring the right people to run...

I'm no Keith Lee, but wow... & NOT in a good way! So my sister who lives alll the way in VA let me know that rapper TI had a restaurant open in the A, Trap City, & because I like to visit different restaurants, suggested I check them out! Cool 😎 I checked out the menu and saw several things I wanted to try.. I was hype! Though I didn't agree with the convenience fee &10% gratuity on a to go order 😒, I loveee to eat. My 2nd thought was this is associated with the great "TI" & one thing about it,, he seems to truly stand on business, periodt! So I call the restaurant to check their New Year hours, & was impressed 👌🏽 Unlike many ATL establishments, they answered the phone "expeditiously" provided excellent customer service & kept to their listed hours! I could not wait! So on New Years eve, I ordered online as soon as they opened and made the 30 min drive. I went inside to the bar area, only to be told they never got my order & wasn't sure what I did. 🤔 I was just expecting to walk in and pick up my food! So I show them my confirmation email and they offered to now make my order. I was told that when another waitress had the time, she would TAKE my order down & give it to the kitchen..🤔 I STILL decided to give them a chance..I literally stood there for over 20 min, watching the staff cater to others around me, completely ignoring me and my $85 order. At that point, I requested my money back... I was through. Then all of a sudden they offered to get the owner on the phone, as they were not capable of refunding me themselves! 🤦🏿‍♀️ When the owner finally picks up, they offer to have my food cooked in 5 minutes.. My only response was "no thank you " So the waitress takes down my info including my order & it's cost and text ' me from her phone indicating that the owner will take care of the refund as soon as he gets in. I explained that I wasn't comfortable leaving without a resolve (like where they do that at?!) but I was assured that it absolutely would be taken care of.. They said I could call around 7p to speak directly to the owner, then tried to offer me a drink before I left! Again, too little, to late! Reluctantly, I left to find a different restaurant to service me. I called back at 7p to be told the owner still wasn't in, and would reach out to me when they got in. By 10p I still hadn't been contacted, so I texted the waitress who had worked with me earlier... Finally I got a response through text an hour later, saying my refund had been taken care of & that it probably wouldn't show to be back in my account until Tuesday because of the holiday. I was ok with that.... if it would have been the end of it! Church, don't you know them folk ain't never refund my good $85! 😳 AND when I tried to call the restaurant about it, my number would no longer go through!!! As if I was bothering them!!! For shame Trap City... I truly expected so much more. But support black business,...
