I'm really not a person that complains, but this situation I must say really made me upset. @ days before Thanksgiving I talked to one of the managers because my order was messed up. He said that he was going to put a credit on my account (which did not happen). I placed an order yesterday and I talked to a Manager named Johnathan. He was rude. I let him know that i talked to one of the other managers that told me all I had to do was place my order and I'll get my pizza free because of the credit on my account. Johnathan continued to talk about what he can not do. He was saying for me to pay again and he'll put a credit on my account. Then he was like well you did one of the specials online so that he was not able to add a discount on top of a promo. Then he was like he can take 50% off of my bill. After going back-n-forth, he says, "since you just want to get free pizzas, you can call the store manager or the District Manager. They always give you free pizza." As I'm still looking at this man crazy, I let him know that money was not an issue for me nor trying to get anything free. Right is Right. If someone told me that I had a credit, give me what I was supposed to get. As a manager, you should be able to de-escalate situations opposed to putting the work on to his superiors. Read moreI ordered a Tuscan six cheese pizza with onions and green peppers. They sent me a regular cheese pizza that was a bit stale - it tasted like they accidentally made a cheese pizza hours beforehand and just repurposed it without putting the toppings that I paid extra for! The delivery was quite fast but it was obviously fast because they didn’t make a fresh pizza or put my toppings on! I’’m ok giving this 1 star (and wouldn’t give it 0 if I could) because I also ordered wings that were ok. They tasted a little funny but at least they were seemingly made fresh. I rarely write reviews unless they’re really called for, good or bad. I wasn’t planning on writing one for this store as I have not had this problem before, but after calling the store, leaving a message AND filling out the complaint form online, I have not heard from anyone with Papa Johns, manager or otherwise. I’d take a refund or a new pizza. I just don’t want to feel like I threw $20+ down the drain like I do now! In my house, ordering delivery is a treat and this did not satisfy my need for a treat. I am extremely disappointed and will be taking my business elsewhere despite usually enjoying Papa John’s product. Read moreI ordered 1 large pizza online for delivery at 8:20pm and knew that the wait would be about an hour for a typical Friday night. I did not call the store until 9:30pm at which point I was put thru a ringer of hang-ups, being put on hold and just plain not answering the phone. When I finally had someone actually answer she said that the driver had already left and should be there soon. (I am 9 minutes away from this store) So I waited until 9:55pm and called back, she put me on hold for about 10mins. Then, I suppose, a manager answered the phone and I told him what had been happening. He told me that they were so busy that my order got mixed up with someone else's. He asked me if I still wanted the pizza. I asked if I got another one how long would it take- he said an hour and a half. I said No Thank you can I get a free pizza credit or my money back and he said that he would do both. Fast forward to10:40pm and the pizza finally arrives..... Never again will I order from here.
