Quick Café — Restaurant in Atlanta

Honesty time. I’m not just throwing out 5 stars just for kicks and giggles. I think my experience is a testament to the value of genuine people behind a service. I didn’t have expectations besides convenience-priced-bumped, small-cup-sized, basic, flavorless coffee. I came in early before the crowd and met Shayla and Gabriel. It was a coldish morning so I just wanted something warm to hold while walking around. I tend to frequent cafes as an hobby and get their most famous/ordered (and sometimes least ordered) coffees. After being told that there were no featured flavors (Really? What a missed opportunity ATG. Seriously.) I told them to just have fun with the coffee and make whatever they want, I’ll pay it. Both Shayla and Gabriel were peaches who delivered to the positive vibes of my experience but Gabriel…geez. Gabriel concocted one of the most amazing cinnamon, oat milk coffees (I’m not doing it justice, he did other things to it…probably alchemy. I don’t even like oat milk…) I have ever tasted. All of the flavors were balanced and present without masking the coffee and felt like I was drinking a warm hug. I was expecting a bland and boring drink but got wizardry in the process. I don’t know about anyone else, but if it’s Gabriel with your coffee and Shayla with the smile, you’re in for a treat if you let them play. Went about a month ago and am late posting this review. The Longleaf Restaurant was booked for an event—okay. But even though we were there within the listed hours of the Quick Cafe, a lone server told us it also was closed! It was wide open, however, and had we been thieves, we could have helped ourselves. Sandwiches are pretty lame with the refrigerated tough ciabata. I got a veggie sandwich and toasted bread could have made this a 4/5 snack bar experience because the inside of the sandwich is tasty. Also didnt like that when I asked for water it was box (plain) or sparkling but then didn't mention it was flavoured. I'm fine with grapefruit but not...
