This was my first time, and I came in because one of my acrylic nails broke off and it was time for a fill in. I saw Sam and she was really sweet. Rather than picking a gel color (like I normally do) when I sat down she asked if I wanted a neutral color like I had on, and I said yes. She told me she had a pretty, neutral color for me so I said cool. 1st Problem: she didn’t change the towel that was down from the previous client. There were still NAIL CLIPPINGS and such on the towel from the client that was in the chair right before me. I was super grossed out and really hope this isn’t a normal practice. 2nd Problem: I mentioned to her that I would like a full manicure if she had time along with the fill in. She did clean up my cuticles, but I never received a hand massage or anything extra besides the cuticle clipping, and nails being done. She told me she was going to replace the tips and do a neutral “powder color.” I wasn’t sure what this meant and a cost was never mentioned. However, I did see a sign on the wall that said SNS $45, so I assumed that’s what it was. She built over the tips with the “neutral color powder” and then cured them 1 time with a clear gel polish. 3rd Problem: I wanted a square nail. I’m not sure what she did, but the nails were left so SHARP on the edges and the middle of the nail was shorter than the outside. I had to COME BACK later that evening to get them filed down. 4th: When it came time to pay I couldn’t believe the total was $70! I had no design, no jewels, no massage, and absolutely nothing extra. Ive been getting my nails done for a while, and have never paid this much. I still have no clue why it cost so much or why the price was never discussed if I was being up-charged for something. The entire manicure took 35 minutes. I really wanted to like this place because Sam was super sweet and I loved the color, but I definitely feel like I got over charged for the service provided.

I recently visited Salon Five Nails & Spa and had one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a nail salon. If i could rate no stars, I would. As a nail tech myself, I was extremely disappointed by the quality of service and the final result. The nail tech's skills were severely lacking. I left with a chemical burn under my middle finger from the acrylic primer, which is unacceptable and indicates a lack of proper technique and care. The acrylic lay was uneven, there were bubbles in the polish, and the overall result was blocky, thick nails that look far from what I requested. To make matters worse, the receptionist's attitude was rude and unprofessional. At one point, they approached me and said, "You said you don’t want no design," in a very unpleasant tone. When I clarified that I had mentioned either no design or maybe French tips, they simply walked away without another word. The final result was horrendous. My nails look blocky, thick, and uneven, with bubbles in the polish. It was not at all what I asked for, and I was left feeling incredibly dissatisfied. I would not recommend Salon Five Nails & Spa to anyone looking for quality nail services. The lack of skill and professionalism was evident in every aspect of my visit. I’ve attached photos of how my nails came out. I also attached the picture of what i asked for as the last photo

TLDR: The front desk man was very rude; he could go early, so he rushed me and taunted my nail tech to get his way. It was very unprofessional and morally wrong. I will never go back. Also, their prices may appear reasonable until you add features- their add-ons are very unreasonably priced. Just go somewhere better- you'll end up paying the same price in the long run.

Full story- I visited their shop after work around 6pm (Google says they close at 7.) At the front door, the (bossy) desk guy said they were closing early today and he would see if someone was available to take me. I sat down to wait, one nail tech declined, a second accepted and I was quickly seated around 6:10 in a pedicure chair. (He seats 3 others after me.)

It became very apparent very early, that my nail tech was new and someone I was going to have to be patient with. (My tech did not have the skills to do the job quickly.)

As time moved, my toes were not looking good (to be honest, they were looking very bad) and my patience was starting to wear thin. At this point, around 6:45, the front desk guy comes to me and asks if I would pay now so he could start to close down process. Very honestly, I told him, I did not feel comfortable paying for a service that I was not pleased with and also was not going to pay for services that I had not yet received. The man ignored my concerns, told me to "think about it" and told me he would be back around again to get my decision.

He went all around the shop successfully taunting and begging the remaining 6 other customers for their payments before their services were finished also.

Around 7pm- the bossy front desk man comes back, this time with an attitude, hand on his hip, neck rolls.. the full 9 and again continues to talk to me like I should be concerned about the logistics and maintenance of his business and his ability to start his holiday weekend.

Bossy front desk man- "To be honest, you're lucky I sat you in the first place, because we were already closed when you came in here... "

Me- "Lemme stop you right there sir, again, I don't run your business- you do. If you were already closed or if you incorrectly estimated the time it would take for your tech-in-training to complete this job, you should have cordially declined my business. But, the details of your books and your timing are not my concern. Its unreasonable for you to ask me, as the customer, to put your needs before mine."

At this point, I ask the man what he would even be charging me for. He reads off a service that I originally requested. I ask him frankly if they even have time to perform that full service. He says, 'No, we don't have time to do that." So I ask, " why would I pay for services were not received?" The bossy man looks dumbfounded and now annoyed... We agree that he will charge me for the most basic package and the acrylic fill ins that I actually received.

All during this, the bossy man is yelling at my tech telling him to hurry up. My tech starts rushing and starts injuring my toes and nail beds. One nail doesn't even get trimmed- this experience was just awful.

The bossy man tells me the price- I pay and I also tip the tech. ($65 in total)

He brings me the itemized bill after I've paid- I question their add on charges. He refuses to explain. (Not cool.)

Within 10 minutes of my payment, the bossy man finished his close out, grabbed his purse and sashays out the front door for the night.

Once the bossy man was gone, my tech visibly calmed down, his hands calmed down and he went back to being more careful and considerate of my skin and of me. He painted them nicely and I was as pleased as was possible.

(The tech used a bit too much acrylic on the nails, so they're super thick, they were pretty difficult for the tech to sand and cut down. They will be a pain to remove. )

Moral of the story: Ill never be back here. It's clear they put themselves before the customers and as a business they lack integrity. Their process to apply the acrylic was very unhygienic and their...

I recently went back to this salon because I haven’t been there in years but I was going out of town and though why not, I’ve always had a good experience here. Until a couple of weeks ago I went in for an eyebrow waxing and pedicure. I got my eye brows done first and the lady did an okay job but I ended breaking out a few days later which never happens. Then I sat down for my pedicure and was flipping through the very minimal colors they had. I told my mail tech that I didn’t want to proceed with my pedicure and told her to just remove my current color and that I would go somewhere else because they didn’t have to color I wanted so I didn’t want the pedicure anymore, she agreed! But then I realize after she take my polish off she puts my feet back in the water so again I tell her just finish taking the polish off and that I don’t want the pedicure, she agreed again but proceeded to start scrubbing my legs I told her she didn’t have to do that because I didn’t want the pedicure but she shook her head and continued and acted like she didn’t understand my English. I was confused as to what she was doing but I though my she just didn’t want me to leave the salon any kind of way. After refusing the pedicure treatments she let me up. I go to pay and I see on my bill that they want to charge me a for a full pedicure. I tell the receptionist who’s attitude was horrible and he was a complete rude person. that I didn’t get a pedicure and told him what happened with the lady. He argued me down and tried to gas light me by saying he would have to pay her out of his pocket if I didn’t pay for the service I told him I would pay for my eyebrows and the color removal but not a full pedicure because I told her multiple time I didn’t want a PEDICURE WHICH SHE FULLY WOULD NOT LISTEN. The she come over and all of a sudden can speaks English perfectly and started light weight arguing with me then rolled her eyes and walked off I paid for what I asked for and some of what she did. When I asked for my receipt the receptionist would not give it to me unless I signed for using my debt card. I will never go back to this location ever again. They were absolutely unprofessional people and...

I’ve been a loyal customer for the last 3 years now. i only let Tiffany do my nails and let whoever do my feet. yesterday on my 26th birthday (9/24/24) i called for a 130 appointment with Tiffany and a pedicure. we agreed to do the pedicure before my nails. my feet get started on at 1230 at 1243 Tiff started soaking off my nails. in my mind i’m thinking she’s just preparing me for my 130 appointment but nooo. Tiffany also applies JUST the first layer of my sns. (something she’s never done) so any customer would think “the 130 is null & void now due to her actually starting the 3/7 process of my nails.”. so she then tells me “i’m going to soak her off i’ll be right back”. it’s now 126 and i’m still sitting there with the first layer of my sns all that’s left is to buff, shape, seal, file and coat. now im irritated bc tiffany is putting a FULL SET on the said client. so now I go to the front desk to pay for my pedicure bc i have other birthday appointments to attend to and the young receptionist tried to charge me in full for both services…. LMFAO yeah NO. we go back and forth. she states someone else can do it , i said no bc my appointment is with tiffany. i say to her “it was no communication. no one asked if i needed anything so take this $53 or im simply leaving for time wasted bc what you WONT DO is ruin my birthday.” After paying my $53 and a tip , i later get a call saying that Tiffany no longer wants to do service which is fine. But note since change in management Tiffany has been overbooked and everything has been overpriced. yesterday no one came to check on me within that time frame of me waiting for my nails to be finished. y’all are so worried about your reviews and add ons to services how about you all Worry about the professionalism and communication. this simply could’ve been avoided if communication and professionalism was involved. & to answer your constant questions as to why my mother or grandmother (also customers since 2021) no longer come your new overpriced location is bc of the LACK OF INTEGRITY and poor choice of...
