I can critique the food and how dry the meat was on the tacos. But I'd prefer to talk about how they lied and practically stole from a customer (myself).
Young man working the counter to be specific They have a sign front and center stating 3 tacos for 3.99 ( choose your meat)
I was charged 3.99 EACH for my Tacos When called out about this, and what was this sign of "3 tacos for $3.99", he paused uncomfortably and stated: "that was before". That was the best answer he could muster up.
Little did the Taqueria Mami employee know as I was waiting in line I watched & observed another customer previously (day laborer fellow) pay the advertised 3.99 and received 3 tacos.
So to summarize, I got assessed instantly by this cashier, decided that I was the ideal person to pull off this "let's give him 1 taco instead of 3, but still charge him the same price of 3.99" hustle.

Read moreOMG!! I've hit this place a couple of times for doordash, so I finally caved in like the food lover I am and got me a couple of tacos I must say A1 hands down 👏👏. Now I have to make a special mention here, I'm not a fan of corn tortillas however, they have now shown me the side of incredible tasting corn tortillas. Like wow!👍👍👏👏👌👌 Spots like these are diamonds in the rough located in a gas station hole in the wall; I must say for me, the best spots. I'm one that loves authentic, and they are that! There's of course more to eat however I'm just one loves street tacos, you're basic good corn tortilla with your favorite protein topped with cilantro onion and that incredible lime on the side and not to forget your choice of salsa; which they so very kindly put the two options in there for you if you're one that's weak on spice. Read moreRead moreOne of those hard to find place! A jewel hidden in a gas station. If you are in the area try it. They have a really big assortment of dishes. They open from early in the morning to serve breakfast to like 9:00 PM. They have home made tortillas. The crew from the cook to the cashier are really nice and friendly people. I had tried the steak (carne asada), Al Pastor, Carnitas (pork), and chorizo tacos! They where all delicious. My friend tried the Tortas and they where big and tasty. My other friend tried their Sopes and no complaints. If you are in the area, try them! Mind you, from 121230 it get packs with all the workers from the area. And I forgot, they have nice prices...
