Pretty good menu: the fried catfish was spot on, great breading but not too much on a lot of fish and the tartar sauce great flavorful and not too heavy. Fries were good and well salted. My friend had the chicken tenders and was happy with them also good breading, he raved about the BBQ sauce, I concur. BBQ sauce wasn’t too sweet with a good amount of tang. Ambiance was chill. Not a lot of people for a late Sunday afternoon. There is a menu and you order first, pay and then take a seat wherever you want. If you want condiments they’re at the booth tables. Average draft beer selection like other Atlanta pubs. Just a few TVs not a lot so you can have a conversation. Not as much parking so it’s recommended to find parking near by and walk. The patio is dog friendly.

Midway Pub is a fantastic spot for a casual and enjoyable dining experience. Their chicken fingers and french fries are absolutely delicious, offering the perfect balance of crispy and juicy. However, my personal favorite is the garlic pretzel – it's a must-try for anyone visiting. The atmosphere at Midway Pub is welcoming and family-friendly. The patio is a standout feature, being both dog and kid-friendly. It’s clean and inviting, enhanced by live plants in beautiful ceramic pots that add a touch of nature and charm to the setting. Whether you're there for a meal with family or a casual outing with friends, Midway Pub provides a delightful environment and tasty food that will make you want to return.

If you are looking for a new "guilty pleasure" spot, this is it. Food is delicious and while I am sure they have some healthy options, we ordered all the non healthy options lol. First of all, you have to try this place at least once just for the "Walking Tacos". Its a shell-less taco inside a bag of fritos. Delicious! I had it with Beyond meat instead of real meat and it was still delicious. I also had a fried chicken sandwich and by bf had the catfish and grits. The grits were super creamy. We topped this all off with a High Noon seltzer. This place was delicious and I will be back! For more food reviews, follow @theboogiefoodie

This place used to be my favorite spot to eat and sit on the patio in East Atlanta, but the past couple of years it's really taken a nosedive. They still have a great beer selection and several reliable, inexpensive food items, but the personnel is just awful now. I think part of it is a lot of turnover - I haven't even SEEN the same wait staff here across multiple visits (although admittedly those visits have become less and less frequent). Don't think this is a place that you can grab a quick meal in under an hour - you won't even see a server for 10 minutes after sitting, and you're lucky if they're back by your table every 15. If you're not alone, there's absolutely no guarantee your food will come out at anywhere close to the same time as your companions', and don't ever think it's okay to tell the server you're fine if you're going to need anything else (including the check).

Don't ever order the smoked wings if you actually care whether or not they're smoked, btw. They used to be a Sunday-only item and were good when they didn't run out, but I haven't actually gotten smoked wings here (despite ordering them several times) in years.

Also, a word about the tiki bar. You can't order food if you sit in the tiki bar, and you can't order drinks if you're sitting at a table on the patio/inside. So why is it here? It's a cool addition to the place, but it doesn't affect my rating of the bar at all because it doesn't even feel like the...

Midway seems to have changed ownership within the past year or less, and from this customer's viewpoint, things have definitely suffered as a result. I'm a neighborhood resident and have always loved Midway. There was nothing better than the staff who were there and the quality of the wings from before. Oh, and not to mention the fact that there was a Men's and Women's restroom. First they replaced the good wings they used to have which were single drums/flats with smaller whole wings (drum/flat combo pieces)...the size does matter, and the quality/supplier of these wings honesltly sucks. Let me say that my favorite part about Midway is that they have Halfway Crooks on draft, and that's my favorite local ATL beer because it's a bit obscure, crisp, and hoppy for the lager they currently have tap. Aside from that, I can't find a reason that I want to go back, and it's like your single days of hooking up with that person that treated you poorly...the only reason you return is because the pain seems familiar. I miss the previous management and am fed up with the "unisex bathroom" when women walk into the men's restroom. I love Europe and am very liberal, but there are not that many customers at one time, except for during World Cup, that would warrant a full-time "unisex bathroom". Get your wings right, Midway. And current manager, please be more in touch with your customers. Your customers don't deserve...

I was referred to the pub by a friend of Jonathan the owner, so I brought my lady with me to check it out we sat in a booth and waited a few till we had our drinks, no biggie. There was stand up comedy going on outside so the focus was outside, we were watching TV on one of the many they had but most were off. Two tables asked Jason "the manager" at the time to please turn the TV back on my lady happened to be one of the people who made a request, Jason must be having a bad night because from the moment he replied he was angry and confrontational, he said he would turn it back on but didn't want to. He left with the control in his hand a while later while still waiting for our food he approach us and was yelling at us stating" if you don't like it then you can leave" so we stood up and attempted to leave, right by the door he was yelling at us again when I tried to speak with him he started yelling at my lady so we left right away he was loud and very embarrassing to us in front of many staff and customers. To be honest with ya I do understand the industry and how crazy it can be but can't make any reason or excuse why he was so rude. I'm very glad there was no violence but he should be careful who may approach in that manner. 9/29/2018 11:15pm check the cameras. I'll make sure to never visit again! I built the townhomes behind the...
