UPDATE: Essentially, if you have issues and decide to leave a review about your experience, don't expect a resolution. Along with employees being unprofessional, you can add management/corporate to the list. Had I not left a one-star review, they would have been willing to accommodate.
On 3/8/25 at 1:54, I went in and ordered my usual, a large Popeye. Upon getting my smoothie, I put my straw into my drink and it was too thick to even drink from the straw. I went back to the counter and told the cashier about the thickness of the smoothie. The cashier then told her coworker that I would like the smoothie remade because it was too thick. I said that was not necessary; if they could just give me coconut water to water it down a bit. The cashier told me no, they can't do that; they'll just remake it. The girl the cashier was talking to appeared to be immediately annoyed, so I said it's okay, I'll take a refund and just go to the Jax Beach location. After about two minutes, your team lead comes out and says they're not able to do refunds or remake the drink because they did nothing wrong on their end. I stated to her how that's possible when I can't even drink out of the straw because it's too thick. She then said that's policy, but I can give you the manager's email, and maybe she can help you. She wanted me to leave the establishment with no drink and no refund, and if I wanted the drink remade, I had to pay for a new drink. So I asked her for coconut water, and she took about two more minutes to bring that over. It did not help the consistency of the drink; it was still too thick. I took the drink and just walked out. I come to this establishment at least two times a week by myself, and my husband also comes in before work often. I am a paying and tipping customer. To be treated like I am just looking for a handout is beyond embarrassing. This is not the first time the smoothie was too thick. The first time they also had an attitude but still remade it. I’m not a rude customer or someone looking for a hand out. I am a paying customer trying to support a local establishment. Being treated this way by people in the hospitality industry is disappointing to...
Read moreI literally only come here simply bc there’s nothing else around and I’m trying so hard to like this place because poké is one of my favorite things to eat, but whyyyyyyyyy do you guys put soo much rice?? Like come on, just see my pics. I’ve asked each time to give half and still get the same. The tuna is already expensive along with how much you charge for all the toppings. I’m not asking for a heaping unreasonable amount, I just want you to be a fair. Take a look at my receipt, where is the mango? Crab salad? That’s bc it’s not there or VERY little is mixed in/ just sad. Unfortunately, every time you’re stingy with portions. There’s barely any tuna and if I worked here I’d almost be embarrassed to even hand it over to the customer. Smh. All i can say is that I do love the sauces ( shoyu/ponzu/ aoli etc bc it’s on point with what I’m use to. Guess I need to stop comparing you guys to what I’ve had in HI. SMH, such a waste of $ - Sorry but I won’t be back. I tried. To the owner, I see your responses to other comments. Do better. Also, just to make u sweat a lil- little miss at the register never ID for the sake, she didn’t even know it was...
Read moreBefore they opened, I was super excited about them being in closer to where I live in AB. I love a good Poke bowl and the first location in Ponte Vedra was a regular staple for me. But I have to tell you why I have stopped eating there in hopes that the management will do something about the new location and fix it. 1) I don't know who you have working at the new location, but there is very little customer service. I feel like I'm annoying the employees when I go up and order from them. Like, 'hey, why are you bothering us with your food order sir?" 2) Please for the love of God, stop up charging for every item that goes on the Poke bowl. I feel like I have to pay to add basic things that are on a regular poke bowl anywhere else. Just getting regular items on it, it comes to $23 or $24, and that's just not worth it to me. Now I just go down the street a block to Tokyo Ramen and Sushi and pay $16.00 for theirs. You lost a solid customer that was willing to spend $80 a month on good poke, just by...
