The food at Royal Palms is terrific and the wine selection is bar none. Any person visiting the beaches should make this place a destination point and I know the local community will continue to support Kori and Chris for they are unexceptional people. I know there are ample Social media posts about workers complaining about their work. However, I would like to take a few moments to recognize all the people that made this place the “Best Place” I have ever worked. Beach community please continue to support one of the Best business and people in YOUR community.
Kori: Thank you for giving me an opportunity. A stranger walked in through your doors and you opened your heart to him. Not only are you kind but also generous. What a rare person you are. THANK YOU!!
Chef Chris: I had been absent from the hospitality industry for FIVE years. You were so kind and patient to let me re-learn some forgotten and lost skills. You NEVER raised your voice at me once. You were like a best friend that just kept smiling.
Adam: You always watched my forgetful back. What drive and energy you bring every day. David: easily the most considerate and thoughtful person I have ever met Reed: The epitome of professionalism with gentleness. Terrence: great sense of humor. I could not stop laughing. Sorry about my crazy parking, blame it on my “lazy” eye. Devon: the epitome of grace and class. Jerry “The Body”: you are so chill n cool. Just a joy to see every day Hunter: what a smile and sense of humor. You made my heart smile every day. Thank you Christopher: You should be a motivational speaker. I just loved talking with you Ryan: the epitome of “welcoming” personality. Always easy to talk to. Christen: Congrats on your new career @ UNF Hospital. I am so happy for you Jared “Don’t call me steven”: by far the smartest man I’ve ever known

Read moreNormally I’d be fully inclined to give this place 5 stars. The food is consistent and good, presented well at a decent price. The wine selection is fantastic and prices are great. The girl who usually serves on my wife and I is great and highly knowledgeable. Today we had the unfortunate experience of being served by an older guy who’s greasy hair gives the impression that he didn’t bother to shower before work. Starting off he arrives at the table with our water bottle held up under his armpit. Whatever it’s in a bottle. I tell him that we’re just eating and not drinking today, but that I might like to take a bottle home. We give him our food order and that’s the last we spoke to him. He brought out our plates as they came up, but never checked back at the table again. He walked past us multiple times to talk to tables that must be regulars, both while we were eating and after we had empty plates. After watching him ignore us when we were finished eating, I became irritated at the lack of table side manners and ask the manager to print our check. After telling the manager that our service, for the first time, was terrible, he became defensive as if I’m just to accept that his server being called in an hour and a half early would justify his inability to give me any amount of proper service. If the manager hadn’t tried to make excuses for having a bad server I’d have left knowing that this was a one-off event. 5 stars on a good day, but this trip was hardly worth 3. Tell your server to wash his hair, leave his attitude at home and maybe find a water service option that doesn’t involve putting the bottle in his armpit. As for the manager, why defend an obviously bad experience when your end goal should be to get the guest to feel assured that the next visit will be better? I’ve been visiting about once a week. If this happens more often I’ll definitely be...
Read moreOur party of 4 stopped by for a glass of wine only,we ended up with much more enjoying this place. The cool part about Royal Palm Village Wine is that you get to pick your own bottle of wine, assistance provided if needed. We started with one reccomend, smooth cab,and it was delicious. We ended up picking couple of few more bottles, mostly red dry wines, two of the bottles we took home. The place was lovely, very well organized, well presented, with nice artwork all over the place. When you ran out of topics, you can just wonder around, and enjoy various artwork. Menu vise,we decided to go with multiple tapas/appetizers. We ordered warm prosciutto and staffed dates, dates are amazing, crunchy from outside, soft from inside.Next Croquettes, roasted Brussels sprouts Spanish anchovies. All tasted delicious . Our service was outstanding, the lady who was assisting us was there all the time, but we never felt too much disturbed. We were given very thorough information about how it works with wines, and also description and menu recommendation. We had desserts at the end,I tasted one, bread pudding, was delicious. I would definitely come back to this place. Few cons: Parking is very limited,we parked in a parking spots right in the next shopping mall. Also, some jazz or any kind of lounge music...
