I went to Chop and Toss at the food hall eatery at the Borgata hotel during my stay. I don’t eat meat so I purchased a Southwest chicken salad but explained to them that I do not eat meat and asked if I could have the salad without the chicken. They said I could and I could substitute the chicken with more avocado… as they were making the salad I asked for a little more cheese and a little more tortilla strips… I then asked for some shredded carrots. They informed me that shredded carrots would be an additional charge. That seemed odd because extra avocado, shredded carrots, a little extra cheese and a little extra tortilla strips wouldn’t come close to how much chicken cost. The person making my salad put some avocado in and I reminded her that I wasn’t getting chicken and had to ask for more avocado. I spoke to the supervisor or manager about getting some shredded carrots because I thought the person making my salad was confused because shredded carrots cost barely anything. The manager too explained that since I got extra avocado they couldn’t give me carrots without an additional charge… how ridiculous is that….. seem very ridiculous to me and I will not frequent that...

Be careful with hours. They are listed as 24-hours, but only the market itself is open 24 hours. The hours for all the rest of the food change throughout the week, and also change throughout the year. The Taco and Asian place usually close first by around 10:00 pm. The Philly steak, Pizza, and burgers shops close around midnight on weekends. I have seen the burger place stay open a bit later on some weekends, but they are unreliable. It depends on how busy they are. The Hagen Dazs ice cream shop was still closed for renovation on 10/9/2021.

Using your comps at any of the locations is 2 for $1. So if your meal cost $30 they will take $60 in rewards credit.

The food is not so great. I've tried burgers, Asian, Pizza, and Pasta. My favorite was the Asian Fusion, but they have fairly limited hours, and I usually miss them since they close early. The one thing I always considered a positive for this place is no longer valid since Covid. It does however offer a nice place to sit away from the casino when you get tired...

The Wine Bar has a cool and relaxed vibe. We ordered cocktails from the Wine Bar and a frozen drink from the Daiquiri Bar that’s connected. Had the seven seas drink from the Wine Bar listed on the board for $17 and it tasted good. Warm bread and Italian dipping oil was nice. The appetizer with the calamari, shrimp, potatoes, & zucchini was delicious. The calamari was tender and had a nice crispy, seasoned coating as well as the other items on the platter. The meatball appetizer was one of my favorite things. I loved the marinara which tasted like it had been simmering with fresh vegetables. The meatball was big enough to be shared. It was tender and juicy. The atmosphere was fun and light. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Jesus’, with the management team at the Wine Bar is very friendly and engaging with the customers. He checked several times to make sure we had everything we needed. There’s a DJ on Saturday nights and wow he is good!! There is a nice size dance floor. If you’re in the...

I visited "Chop and Toss" salad bar, at Borgata. Overall, food and service were okay. However be aware that they overcharge customers when you order customer salads. Menu display one thing but they charge you extra. In my example, I ordered only kalamata olives which should be extra $1, but they charged me extra $3 for bacon and $1.25 for blue cheese, even though those items are included in available choices as per menu (menu picture attached and there are extra cost for salmon, turkey and eggs, not bacon). When I asked why they charged me extra, they told me that all proteins and cheeses are extra, even though it's not how it displays on their menu.

The Wine Bar is a hidden gem located downstairs in the Borgata Hotel Casino The atmosphere is intimate, warm and inviting. The back walls are lined with wine bottles. The service is friendly and attentive, and the wine list is extensive. The wine list 🍷 is one of the best in Atlantic City. There are wines from all over the world, and the staff is very knowledgeable about the different selections. They are happy to make recommendations based on your taste preferences. If you are a lover of vintage wines we recommend you stop by the Wine Bar🍷
