Papa Romano's Pizza & Mr. Pita — Restaurant in Auburn Hills

I placed an order for pick up. I had never been here before. I walked in and nobody was at the counter. I waited a few long minutes before yelling out HELLO??? It didn't look like anyone was there. It was lunchtime either Wednesday 3/7 or Thursday 3/8. I believe it was Thursday. After yelling out HELLO, this very large lady appeared from the back and was very rude. I said OH, there is someone here. She said WE ARE VERY BUSY so you need to wait AND I CHECKED A COUPLE MINUTES AGO AND YOU WEREN'T HERE!!! Then she goes, is that all you want??! Because I had two Pepsi's on the counter. I said no I'm picking up my order. She was SO RUDE and some very skinny person was peeking at me from in their back room around the corner that I was so freaked out and upset. Something gross I think was going on in the back of that store! I will never go back and I DID NOT TAKE THE FOOD. GROSS! I left and went to Papa Johns instead and they were right there, clean and professional and ready to take my order. I will NEVER GO TO A PAPA RAMANOS AGAIN! My co-workers won't either! What's worse is I emailed corporate and NOBODY ever replied. BAD BAD BAD! And what were the big lady and skinny thing doing in...

Placed an online order at 7:02pm on Memorial Day without knowing they closed at 7. I received a voicemail moments later from a women (could have been named Star, but unsure) that worked there stating that they closed at 7. She then called me back, offering to make my order still as she was waiting anyway for a door dash pick up.

I expressed that it was not necessary, if they were closed that was my fault for putting in an order. After her insisting it wasn't a problem, I accepted her offer to do so and rushed up there to make sure she didn't have to stay any extra time than needed. I have never seen such amazing customer service. The pizza and bread were equally as great as the service I received.

I continue to tell friends and family that this location has provided some of the best pizzas consistently over the last year or longer. I will be back time and time again.

Those complaining of poor customer service must have been rude enough to receive it. Takes no effort to treat people with kindness and respect, and you will receive it in return. Great establishment and I hope the owner knows what kind of workers...

I walked in here and waited almost 5minutes just to hear “one minute” from someone working there. I realize they are busy (I assume anyways), however when your standing less than 10feet from someone, and don’t even acknowledge their existence, it comes across as insulting. I then watched him grab a already cooked pizza and pick it up with his hands before putting it into a box, not sure what was going on there as I wasn’t staring him down, but happen to notice it, maybe it was his own pizza, not sure but still random people like me don’t know that for sure, so it will look bad either way.. He then walked into the back room area, then a lady came out to take my order, which the whole time was just a pick up order.

You can have the best pizza in the world, but if you can’t have adequate customer service your screwed. However, I never been here before, so I have to give the benefit that maybe it’s not always like this, hence 2 stars rather than 1.
