Agave Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Auburn

I ate here for the second time tonight, on a Monday. The first time it was packed. This time we were the only people in the entire restaurant. The atmosphere, including the bathrooms per my wife, was/is impeccable. I was concerned the food or service quality had diminished. Thankfully, it had not. The Colorado burrito was spicy and delicious. I really enjoyed my Agave margarita. My wife had queso, a soft taco and a few Clooney margaritas, all received 5 stars! Service was excellent both visits. Food is Tex-Mex, and they have brunch items all day. The explanation for the empty restaurant from the manager - they opened 2 months before the Spring semester ended. That was all I needed to know. Summer can be tough on any restaurant in Auburn, but especially on one that hasn’t established a following. This is our 2nd time going, and we love it! We met Joseph, the manager, our first and second time. He’s excellent, pleasant, and very informative, and attentive.
