This place is nice and has potentional but we just didn’t get that experience unfortunately. The food and drinks were great, a little pricey but it’s downtown auburn. $100/hour is steep for the experience you get. We spent over 20 minutes playing without the screen registering our ball waiting on someone to come by so it could be corrected. The loaded tots and chicken sandwich were great along with the drinks (other than full of ice & small). Our main issue was that we reserved for an hour starting at 6 pm, around 7 our server stated our time was up at 7:26 so we thought maybe they gave us extra time on our hour due to how long it takes to get set up and what not. Our bill had a 2 hour charge on it which could not be refunded per the server. According to the employees, they start charging you once they sit you at your pod even if your entire party isn’t there without warning you of this being your start time. They tried to say we arrived at 5:26 despite it being 5:56 after they had to look back and saw they had a “glitch” in communication with their system and the host stand. After letting us know they were sorry and we wouldn’t be refunded we spoke with the manager who thankfully gave us our $100 back since we only played for a little over an hour. Just be aware to not sit down until your party is all there and make it known how long you would actually like to play so you aren’t...
Read moreI've been to Bunkers twice, and I won't be back. The first time I went, the service was good, and the Bunkers Burger was fine (I prefer well-done burgers, but that's a small detail). The prices seemed pretty steep, but I didn't really expect much else from downtown Auburn. The second time I went was awful. While our waitress was great, the food was just terrible. I paid $18 for the short rib sliders, which tasted terrible, was about a third of just fat and cartilage, and was a very small portion. I'm alright with paying $18 for an entrée if I'm getting a good dinner, and I would also be ok with getting the same portion size at a reduced cost. But I don't know anyone who would pay dinner prices for snack-sized portions. My favorite place in Auburn has similar prices, but they serve some of the best food I've eaten. Bunkers just doesn't have the quality to justify the prices. I don't typically post reviews, but then I saw the other reviews and the responses from Bunkers. I don't trust businesses who are eager to take credit and "pass along your experience to our team" when the feedback is positive, but the negative feedback just MUST be harassment and part of a smear campaign. Some accountability from the leadership for the VERY REAL AND VALID pitfalls of this place would...
Read moreThis place is definitely a 5 star! We went with friends and had a fabulous time! Trey, our waiter, and Josh, the bar manager, were amazing and professional. The food was great! The brownie and ice cream dessert were well worth the wait since it’s made fresh from scratch! Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. We played golf and had a lot of fun. Then we met another friend and moved to the bar area. The bartender was also friendly and accommodating. I’d like to try the other games next time. This isn’t just a place for the college crowd! This would also be a great place for team building, meetings, large gatherings, and parties. Josh said they can do all types of events and host charcuterie and wine tasting sessions. Retirees-meet here during the week for a great time with friends without a crowd! Families-have parties and gatherings here for all ages! Coaches-bring your team here for practice and fun! Bosses-have team building sport tournaments and...
