I am extremely offended with the customer service at this store. When I arrived at the store, my family was the only family inside the store on this Sunday afternoon to go shopping. No one working in the store greeted my family. However, other customers came into the store, they were greeted. I didn’t mind that I wasn’t greet. I know sometimes it’s a hit and miss, since I do work in a customer service industry. What I am upset about is the fact that was my family was standing in line waiting to be check out. There was a lady in front of us, I assumed she was being check out because she had a bunch of stuff. But it turn out that she was a worker and she was just stickering the products. I waited about 5-10 mins. Nothing happen. The cashier nor the lady who was sticker products turn to me and ask if I needed assistance or if I’m ready for check out. The cashier who was facing my direction didn’t even acknowledge me, but she had the time to turn toward the front door to greet people or ask people around the counter for assistance. I felt like I was being ignored. I don’t think my family was hard to miss, there were 3 of us hovering right in front of them. I read the other bad review on this store, and I notice this happen to another minority. And after reading it, I felt disgusted and wrong and discriminating against. My two daughter goes to auburn. And I know they go shopping a lot, I wonder if this happens to them a lot. And I wonder if this is the charming oak’s idea of what the auburn family is. Unless the auburn family does not extend to the...

All the workers have done is just talk to each other and then glare at us when we have questions or wanted to try stuff on. I have worked in a boutique before and am currently working at one, so I understand missing seeing a customer walk in the store, but the times recently that I have come in, it has been empty. We've gotten looked directly in the eye when we have walked in and then the girls working just go back to either: talking to each other or looking on their phones. I used to LOVE coming in but the looks I've gotten and the less than great customer service has made me go spend my money somewhere else. I really wanted to give Charming Oaks another chance but it's frustrating to go into a store and feel like I'm not welcome. It's really a shame because I've found some cute items in there and have left empty handed because I don't want to spend...
Read moreThe store manager is a joke and tries to go back and forth with customers rather than making sure their services are met as well as some of her employees whom lack respect and instead of them being productive around the store they stand in circle listening to the store manager as she raises her voice about a policy. I bought the dress for a wedding and due to the zipper not going up and I misplaced the receipt she acted as if she couldn’t exchange the dress for something else in her store within value of the dress simply because I no longer needed the dress because the wedding had passed. How some boutiques and stores in the auburn-opelika area offer store credit (at the least) even if you do not have a receipt. I would not recommend shopping there it’s much better professional places who appreciate their customers and are willing to provide the up most service for the customers whom put money into the pockets of their small/large business. She needs go home to drink her...
