Halftime Sports Bar — Restaurant in Auburn

Do not go here. I’ve been here on MULTIPLE occasions and hated my experience every Single time. Despite my bad experience i chose to go here and crazy of me invited friends. We waited over 10 minutes to get our drink order taken and even when that order got taken I had to be that person that had to literally call out so ANNA would even look at us. When we asked to order drinks she rolled her eyes at us and then asked what we wanted. After the first round of drinks and APPETIZERS ordered. Anna was never to be seen at our table again. Where was she? At the end of bar canoodling with her red headed boyfriend who was off duty and probably drinking for free. Once we got our APPETIZERS the food runner slung the food on the table and dipped. Once again had to yell to get his attention so we could asked for a ranch dressing. After that not ONE. SINGLE. halftime employee even looked our way. We didn’t even get to order dinner. i went to what clearly was the kitchen where the manager was hiding all night and called her out to speak. After explaining what all has happened in her unattended restaurant she ask if i wanted anything and i just simply asked for our checks. Now we didn’t come here looking for anything free. But she literally said sorry then went behind the bar and talked about us in a clear to hear volume with ANNA and didn’t offer a discount. My friends paid with cards. My bill was 15.12 and i gave 16.00 in the book. My friends got there cards back. Did i get my change? No. Would you have gotten a better tip than .88? We came here after hearing great things about this restaurant. However, our experience was horrendous. The only good part of our visit was the food, decent food. The service though has left a very bad taste for my husband and I. We got to the very empty restaurant and sat down but no menus were brought to us. We got our drinks in and still no menus. So my husband had to go to the host table and get them himself. That may be normal, but we were not told that even after the waitress came and got our drink order. We then waited a while for our drinks. Then when she brought them, before we could say anything, she ran off. We waited for a chunk of time before she came back around to get our food order. The entire time we did not see her she instead was vaping behind the bar or talking to the people at the bar. When she brought out our food she made small talk and refilled my drink without me asking but did not refill my husbands drinks, who was nothing but nice to her. We ate our food and did not see her again. She was still behind the bar vaping, talking, and taking care of only them. When we were finished my husband had to find her to get the check/pay and he asked for a to-go drink. She said she would get it for us yet took another order for the bar, got their two drinks, and sat down to talk to the people at the bar and vape with them. We just left at that point. Do NOT EAT HERE!! only buy from the bar and be cautious with that. It’s a nice place to have a beer, watch a game, and mingle with friends. The kitchen should be permanently close or hire people who can cook. The food was horrible, disgusting, and terrible . Their menu is not the same as the one posted on the website. They just changed the menu, which didn’t discourage us from eating there. If you have allergies, you might as well disregard all the burgers!! The toppings are listed separately on the menu but they do not inform you all toppings are mix within the cheese.So you can’t remove a topping unless you remove the cheese. To top it off the cheese tasted spoiled! I ordered the house burger. Three people purchase three different type of burgers and neither of us like it. I politely informed the waiter and she was understanding. The burgers were removed from our tab. Shortly after, I noticed the waiter crying behind the bar and a young man took over. The waiter brought our tab and she disappeared to the back without saying a word. We caught the vibe and walked our tab to the bar to cash out. I hope she is okay. In addition, it took a hour to receive our meal and it wasn’t hot. I couldn’t understand why because it was slow and we were the only ones ordering food.
