Culver’s — Restaurant in Auburn

Location was great, the people were great the food was good. The fries were not quite done but that's ok. Just the thing that got me was I spent 20 dollars on a meal and that's alot of money for one person to eat at fast food and I understand inflation but what really got me was I asked for a sauce after I got my meal and got charged 38 cents! What in the world? It's really not a big deal I just couldn't believe after spending 20 bucks I had to pay another 38 cents for a sauce. That's a corporate deal I know. Over all pretty good at this location. I'd recommend this location with the people and the food! Stellar job for sure! I don't remember the guys name but he rung me up for the sauce, I just have to say I was actually quite appreciative in the fact that he enforced the 38 cents but not in a rude way and I don't know. It just really showed a great sense of integrity(there might be a better word, that's just what came to me) and I personally just appreciated that. Keep it up...

When this location first opened, it was pretty good (for fast food). However, it has slowly been declining in food quality (Again, I know...it's fast food). I like that their open late...only time we eat here is when we're in a pinch after a late-night ball game (youth baseball). The last couple of times we ate here...the food came out dry, condiments were sloppily thrown on the burgers and some advertised condiments weren't even on it (cheese was half on/half off, and rubbery). We ate at a Culver's in Florida (Navarre Beach), and the burgers were great...you felt that you got what you paid for. The burger that showed up at the table, looked just like the burger that's advertised (Really!). My overall opinion...stay away from the burgers, Chicken fingers and fries are good, custard is good and the staff is friendly and courteous. Also, the dining area and restrooms are always clean...

When Culver's first opened, it was five-stars.

However, the past 3 times I've gone (over maybe 6 months) have been just terrible. The burgers now are overcooked, and have WAY too much condiments. The last time, I couldn't even eat the burger because it was just soggy and dripping mayo everywhere. On two orders I was missing the fries.

The servers are very friendly and the restaurant is generally very clean. However, the past two times I've visited there were multiple tables that needed to be cleaned and the trash was overflowing.

I'm not sure what happened to the restaurant, but it has gone from a five-star that I would recommend to anyone, to a two-star with it's only redeeming factor being that when they do the food right, it's amazing. But, I don't expect...
