I recently visited El Rinconsito in Auburn, WA, with my wife and our two young children (ages 1 and 5) and had an unfortunate experience that compels me to share this review. From the outset, it was clear that the restaurant lacks inclusivity and has little regard for customer service, assuming everyone will eat spicy food without any warning. The management and staff should be highly ashamed of themselves.

The menu does not provide any indication of spice levels, which is problematic. Assuming every customer enjoys extremely spicy food is a narrow-minded approach. We ordered a chicken burrito and pork tacos. While the chicken burrito was not spicy at all, the pork tacos were overwhelmingly spicy, far beyond our tolerance. Given the stark difference, it was evident that the pork tacos should have been marked with a chili warning, as is standard practice in many restaurants, including other Mexican establishments.

When we brought this to the attention of our waitress, she discussed it with the staff inside and then informed us that it was our responsibility to specify that we did not want spicy food. This response was both unhelpful and dismissive. Not only did they decline to refund, but they also refused to replace the uneaten tacos, leading to a loss of $17. When we inquired about their stance on reimbursing $17 for uneaten food, they completely ignored our request. Instead of owning the problem, they shifted the blame onto us, which is unacceptable.

In the food business, service providers must ensure that customers leave the restaurant satisfied. If an issue is raised, they should make every effort to resolve it. Unfortunately, El Rinconsito felt no shame in letting us leave with uneaten tacos, even after we explained the issue in detail.

I strongly advise against giving business to El Rinconsito. Their lack of consideration for customer preferences and poor handling of complaints reflect poorly on their commitment to customer...

El Rinconsito in Auburn is a hidden gem for Mexican cuisine enthusiasts. This authentic restaurant has gained a well-deserved reputation for serving some of the most mouthwatering carnitas and sopitos in the county. From the moment you step through the door, the aroma of sizzling meats and the lively atmosphere transport you to the streets of Mexico.

The carnitas at El Rinconsito are a true masterpiece. Each succulent piece of slow-cooked pork is tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Whether enjoyed in a taco or as a standalone dish, the carnitas at El Rinconsito are sure to satisfy even the most discerning palates.

But let's not overlook the sopitos, a traditional Mexican dish that El Rinconsito excels at. These small, thick corn masa boats are topped with a delightful medley of ingredients, such as beans, meat, cheese, and salsa. The combination of textures and flavors is simply divine, making it a must-try for anyone visiting the restaurant.

And then there's the Pollo en Mole, a dish that stands out above the rest. The tender chicken smothered in a rich, complex mole sauce is a true culinary delight. The depth of flavors, with hints of chocolate, spices, and chilies, creates a harmonious symphony for the taste buds.

El Rinconsito in Auburn has undoubtedly perfected the art of Mexican cuisine, offering a delectable array of dishes that showcase the authentic flavors and culinary traditions of Mexico. Whether you're craving carnitas, sopitos, or the unforgettable Pollo en Mole, this restaurant is a haven for food lovers seeking a truly remarkable...

I haven't tried the food yet, but I deliver a lot of meals for them. I'm a Door Dasher and they have more deliveries than other Mexican food restaurants that I've noticed!! I like delivering for them because I seem to get Great tips and also they have NEVER forgot a drink or anything else from my orders! They work as a team and help each other when needed so everything runs smoothly!! All the staff are very kind and attentive to the customers always letting you know you're there, and they will be with you in a moment. The cooks seem to be very organized as well putting out orders with quickness, with no mistakes that I've ever heard while I'm there. Love the way they all work so well together! Great Job to the hiring manager!!! Great Team Here!! I say try their food!! Looks Delicious For Sure!! I took my good back. There was large chunks of fat in what should have been shredded beef. They charged me for the meat I couldn't bring myself to eat it. My son got a chimichanga he was not impressed and begged me to never order food from there again. They charged me for bottled drinks then tried to tell me they were out when I requested my money for the drinks they magically had bottled drinks. When I took my food back I brought the drinks as well yet they didn't give me a refund for them. I'm not sure why this place had so many good reviews. I just want a decent street taco

Would give 0 stars if possible. I’ve been going here for a year. Never any issues. Tonight my fiancé called and placed an order for pickup. We got the order. Arrived home to eat and he finds a 6+ inch piece of hair in the food. I called and the remade the order. When I got back home with the new food, my fiancé takes a bite and can see that there is mold inside his food. Not a little bit. But a lot. Every bite has mold. The meat was pulled from the fridge with mold and then Cooked and served. Never again will I be eating from here.
