⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Amazing—A Must-Try Local Gem!
I’ve now had Love Daddy’s Authentic Foods on three separate occasions, and each time I’ve walked away more impressed than the last. Alfred, the owner, is the heart and soul of this place—he works his tail off every single day to make sure his customers leave satisfied. You can genuinely feel the passion and pride he puts into every dish.
I’ve sampled a little bit of everything: the cheesesteak, the burger, and the gyro—and let me tell you, not once have I been disappointed. The portions are generous, the meat is tender and seasoned to perfection, and each bite is packed with flavor. I haven’t had a cheesesteak this good since I was back in Philly—this one’s the real deal. Authentic, juicy, and absolutely mouthwatering.
What really caught me off guard today, in the best way possible, was discovering they serve fresh smoothies. Yes—fresh smoothies, made with real fruit, right in-house! It’s incredibly rare to find that kind of quality in the area, and it honestly blew me away. I could see myself coming back just for the smoothies alone.
Another thing I love: Alfred is super accommodating. If you have a custom request or want to tweak your order, he’ll do his absolute best to make it just the way you like it. That level of customer service is rare these days.
It’s a joy to watch this establishment grow, and I feel lucky to be part of the community that gets to support it. If you’re even thinking about stopping by—do it. You won’t regret it. Go...
Read moreThe food was very delicious, we got a steak and cheese with onion which was so delicious it needed no sauce -normally I put sauces on my steak n cheese- and the homemade ketchup was very delicious with the fries and the house-made lemonade was really good. All around 10/10 for deliciousness! Loved the authentic style :) The cook was very kind and communicative, the prices however really got me. We ordered a 12” sub which was 8.27 not bad at all, but we were asked if we wanted fries with it and had assumed it was with it which was my bad but even as a side i just didn’t expect them to be almost 7$ and the lemonade I was given maybe a little over half a small glass and that was also almost 7$ overall I paid 23$ just for food which I shared the sub and fries and just was shocked for the prices other then the sub. The sub was very good price and superb. I enjoy to support good businesses and if the prices are a bit more reasonable I think he’d still see the money come in in tips, I try to tip well when I feel I found a deal ❤️ and of course I still did since this was our first visit :) Seems like a very newly opened place so I didn’t try to complain but that bathroom was in an awful state! I hope he plans to hire help maybe since it seems as though he’s alone, and I hope things really take off well! Very...
Read moreWent in for a tasting and tried the chicken and dumpling soup and house made ketchup. I was also offered to try their Philly cheesesteak and a vegetable soup, however I personally do not like philly's and decided to just try the one soup for now. The chicken and dumpling soup was cheesey/creamy with little bites of chicken and decent sized dumplings throughout. I personally prefer larger pieces of chicken, and I do wish there was a bit more of a flavor to it, I feel like the cheese flavor was mostly what I could taste, and the chicken and dumplings could've shined more.
I was also served the house made ketchup to try by itself. It was sweet with a hint of spice (BBQ perhaps?), but did lean more appley in flavor than tomato.
I am 100% willing to go back again and perhaps try other stuff. It certainly isn't the worst place to get food and they are just opening up, so there is time and space for improvement. I do understand it might just not be /my/ thing but it could be others.
I rated the service and atmosphere in the middle as well since they clearly are not fully staffed yet and still working on opening fully, so there wasn't many people there today to create a "vibe".
I wish the owner and staff the best of luck though in...
