Let me start by saying I am a major fan of Taco Bell, and I have eaten at this location routinely. However, today has made me question as to whether or not I will ever do so again. My visit today went as follows:
I ordered on the mobile app, and selected drive thru pick up, as I do every time. I ordered during the lunch rush so I knew there would be a pretty lengthy wait, but I was not concerned. After waiting approximately 15 min to get to the speaker, I informed the person inside that I had place a mobile order. I was then informed I had to visit inside to pick up my order. Obviously this is a major annoyance considering I have already waited this long to be told this info, and it is compounded by the fact that this location's drive thru allows for no exit once entered. So this means not only has my wait thus far been fruitless, but I now have to continue to wait behind other cars picking up there food just to exit the drive thru and pull around the building to park and go inside for my order. Annoyed, I asked at the window if there was a reason for this, seeing as how if this is a new permanent policy it would affect my future visits. To which the girl at the window didn't even attempt to give any answer, but immediately called for what I assume was some manager. The newly enlisted "manager" addressed me extremely rudely with the phrase " Is there a problem here?" I proceeded to inquire as I had before, but this time I'm sure my annoyance reflected in my tone. The girl rolled her eyes and repeated, "Is there some problem here?", as if she hadn't even bothered to listen to my words. "Why can't you just come in to get your order? Is there some problem as to why you can't just come inside to get your order?" Mind you her tone was extremely rude and short. By this time I have had it with being disrespected and my time waisted by this nonsense. I informed her that I did have an issue with coming inside. We are in the middle of a pandemic, and I made efforts to order and pay digitally and pick up in a drive thru to limit any possible exposure, and all that just gets dismissed without any explanation and with rude behavior to boot. This kind of interaction has soured my once pleasant opinion of this location. If this is the type of people they allow to treat there customers this way, then I will not be spending my money to support them. Today was...

Read moreStopped here on our way home from Gulf Shores. The bathrooms were clean, the dining room was clean, the service was quick, and they were accommodating. The food was good and we got exactly what we ordered. What I did observe was (we were the only people in the restaurant) the obscene language coming from the workers. They were using the "F" word very liberally, among other colorful language. I am not one to care if you cuss, just not in a place of business. I was glad there were no kids in the restaurant. It made me feel really uncomfortable. Also, the girl that was working the drive-thru was taking orders from her car and then coming into the store, ringing it up, then going back to her car 🤦♀️ Maybe that is why some of your drive-thru orders are getting so messed up (I just read some earlier comments). So, I would eat here again, but next time, I would tell them how uncomfortable it made me feel to hear them...
