Momma Goldberg's Deli — Restaurant in Auburn

Was passing by Auburn on a road trip. I was part of the management team for the original and the Long leaf location for several years around 2011.

The menu has changed a bit but generally the same. Had a hard time choosing even with the choices left so I got two sandwiches and some nachos of course.

It was excellent. There’s nothing like an experience proving the test of time. There’s much to be said about the teams ability to pass on the culture of this Deli and maintain the standards that have live up to personal memories for patrons and alumni.

One of the best restaurants in town. They have several choices for sandwiches, wraps and etc.They also have some for kids to munch into. My favorites are the Momma's love sandwich classic and Momma's nachos with jalapeño peppers and melted cheese. The prices are wallet friendly. The service people are great. They are not intimidating and works not slow. They do accept catering services. You can place order for pick-up too. In Auburn, they are located right next to the gas station and other restaurants Longleaf and College St.. They have good space to park your vehicles. When we first came in to order, the manager disappeared for almost 10 minutes when he was supposed to be pouring our beer. 20 minutes after we got our food, the same manager came up to us and took one of my friend’s beer after he had already clearly shown his ID at the front. He ended up giving it back, but it was really weird considering my friend already had his beer for a while now.
