The Fire House Grill — Restaurant in Auburn

Me and my family went there this past weekend to enjoy a meal together me and my wife ordered chicken tenders my son and my daughter-in-law ordered flatbread. We waited for over a half hour for our meals to arrive when they did everyone get their meal except for my daughter-in-law me my wife and my son finished our meal my daughter-in-law still had not received hers I mentioned it to the waiter several times Aldi did was laugh about the situation . She waited over an hour it never did receive her meal she ordered the same thing that my son had everyone else in the restaurant that came in after us had their meals on the tables and was eating and my daughter-in-law still did not get her meal we ended up leaving and taking her somewhere else so she could get something to eat. I would not recommend this place to anyone the way it was rude we ended up having to leave my daughter-in-law never received her meal. My uncle and I stopped in here for Lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. Its a seat yourself establishment with a decent variety of seating options (although restaurant is pretty small) including a bar. They have good weekly specials and a comprehensive menu. The tap list is good with tons of local brews and seasonal choices. Service was fantastic, courteous and prompt while the food was even better. For the price I was extremely impressed with not only the portion sizes but the variety of offered sides to go along with your dish. A lot of the time you dont want anything too heavy making you feel lethargic after lunch during the work day and even though we were both stuffed from our meal neither of us felt gross afterwards. The quality of food was impressively fresh and delicious. Absolutely was not overpriced frozen Sysco garbage more and more places try to pass off nowadays. Small pub with great food. Waitress was pleasant and food came soon after ordering. This was a Birthday Lunch from my daughter for me with 1 granddaughter and 1 great granddaughter. Awesome soft baked pretzels, with a cheese dipping sauce to die for. We had a variety of food between us 4, but everything looked so yummy. I had the Mac and cheese with crunchy chicken and it was the same homemade cheese sauce they used with the pretzel dip. Pizza looked delicious, but I was too full to even try it. My great granddaughter devoured at least half of the pizza. For a 3 year old, it had to be good. Plenty of food and plenty of leftovers to take home.
