Let's start with the good:
These are still some of the best burgers in the category. McDonalds burgers are boring. Wendy's has some interesting limited time items but usually nothing impressive. Cook-Out has that smokey BBQ flavor but is a bit too basic. BK beats them all out. The scent of that flame grill is a big draw and the flavor, when the patties are cooked right, is great!
The staff here is usually pretty chill. My last visit was around 10:00pm. The lady at the window was sweet but I could tell she was overwhelmed. That's where the bad stuff starts...
The drive-thru line moved slower than the line at an NYC DMV, and that's saying something. I literally thought time had frozen for like 20m. I get to the order speaker and wait another 20m to get any sort of response, meanwhile there is lots of background banter. Cars are honking as if I'm the one holding things up.
The window girl greets me finally only to ask me to wait a little longer. She did apologize genuinely but then I'm waiting for another 10-15m while they sort out a DoorDash issue. Cars are peeling off, more honking, the civil unrest is mounting.
Finally get my order in. The girl lets me know they're out of Whopper buns. I've committed at this point so no bigs. Order placed but no verbal confirmation, no screen display. Pick up my food after another 10-15m wait.
Of course, I get the food home to my family. Everything is wrong: I ordered a small fries, not in the bag. Asked for 8-piece mozzarella sticks, got 4 instead. The Whoppers were undercooked and sloppily put together. It was one of the saddest BK meals I've ever had.
All and all, I'm avoiding BK after 8pm. They're short-staffed to begin with but this was just horrible. It's not the first time we've had this experience but this one takes the cake. These folks need help. It always seems there's only three or four people working tops and I can't imagine how burnt out the staff feels, so I get it.
Hope they get more help and better leadership. This is all a simple matter of process management and quality control. It sucks to spend any amount of money and always feel like you're spinning a wheel, hoping for a good experience.
Still stand by BK as one of my favorite guilty pleasures but I think we'll be sticking to Taco Bell more. That's always been a more consistent...
Read moreI went mostly to try the new Adam's family food that they have. Stayed in line for maybe 30 minutes or more (guestimated) to receive all cold food and even a milkshake that wasn't even mixed. To make things worse, they gave me two forks and no straw. Which I understand since I did try one of the pies but still no straw or spoon? Especially when my milkshake wasn't even mixed! My whopper had tons of pickles it overwhelmed everything but the only good thing I really liked was that they didn't measure how many churros I ordered (I got 8 pieces) but it was maybe 10 to 12 in the box (not complaining! I'm glad for extra on this one :) ) customer service was alright, the first lady was nice and told me why I was waiting for my shake and another item which I'm glad for, I don't mind waiting, but another woman came to the window and handed the drink and a heavy bag with one hand so I had to reach out to take them both separately so they wouldn't fall. To top it all off, I said thank you and to have a great day, and she just ignored me and instantly closed the window.
Did not like my...
Read moreIf I could it would be 0 stars. My husband and I went here and ordered 6 bacon and cheese whooper jrs and 1 8pc chicken nugget. To start off they couldn't even get the whooper Jr's right. And the nuggets tasted old and stale like they have sat there since morning time. The bacon and cheese whooper jrs half of them didn't have bacon, the patties was luke warm at the best. What bacon was on some of them was burnt. The burgers was a sloppy mess. Had to go back around through the drive thru to get to speak with someone. The manager seemed like he didn't care at all what happened. He seemed like he didn't believe us until he was showed the whooper Jr's. He offered to remake the order (or so we thought) but he only remade the whooper Jr's that was missing the bacon. Its getting to be where you can't go out and eat anymore because of all the people that doesn't care working in the restaurant field. Won't be going back here to...
