Let me start out by giving a little background info. My son and I rarely are able to go out to a RESTAURANT to eat because he works late or out of time a lot of times. This past Sunday, March 27 approximately 6 p.m. EST. We were seated in the bar area at a table by a window with no tables behind us only an exit door. We have no problem sitting a bar area anywhere. I quit drinking many years ago but my son drinks. He had 2 beers with his meal which was a steak. The food was great! The waitress we had was on top of it and very good. We had packed our "leftovers" and were waiting to get the check so I told my son I was going to use the restroom before we left. (Remember the exit door I mentioned earlier) as I was returning to our table I looked out the door and saw a group of men standing there. I sat back down at our table. Apparently, I was supposed to open this exit only door to allow this people to come into the restaurant. I'm sorry but to me an exit door is an exit door. Long story short one of the young men walked to the front door (i.e., the entrance) and intentionally said "look me dead in the eye and don't open the d... door". I turned and asked if he was talking to me? Anyway, he was and I apologize but no one is going to be disrespectful to me in that manner. I don't allow my son to talk to me in that manner so why would I allow a complete stranger to do it. We left the restaurant needless to say and I'm not going to lie about it but yes I yelled and I cussed back. I've have not been impressed with the reaction of the management team has been uncaring. I will not being visiting this establishment again. You can make...
Read moreWell, let's start with as we entered we went to where we were going to be seated, hostess, waitress was like let sweep the floor. Then goes to a totally different table and cleans it off. As we stand at the other table like a bunch of weirdos. Comes back and says, "Come over here to this table instead. Then we get our drinks. We ordered an appetizer, the classic combinations. Its comes with stuffed mushrooms, calamari, and mozzarella sticks. Instead of the calamari, we got extra mozzarella sticks. It took a bit for it to come out. Once it did, it had the mozzarella and extra calamari and no mushrooms. We told the waiter that's not we ordered, he apologized and went to correct the mistake. It's comes back out. Now the mushrooms were cold and lukewarm. The mozzarella sticks were good. Now, finally, our meals come out. My two youngest order mac and cheese, which they loved. My oldest and her boyfriend ordered the fettuccine Carrara which was good. They enjoyed it. My wife ordered the pork chop, which was good. As for me, I ordered the Lasagna. Presentation it looked good. But when I took a couple of bites, parts of it were cold, and to be honest, it tasted like dog food. Stoffers Lasagna from Walmart tastes better than what I got. My portion of the meal was comped, so I appreciated that. I got the check, and the waiter gave me my military discount, which again I appreciated. Then it took about another 10 mins before the waiter came back for the check. He walked past my table at least 5 times. We came there yesterday to celebrate our oldest daughter for doing an amazing job in school. I wish I had a...
Read moreOur experience this evening was less than stellar. The prices have become outrageous for very little ROI. A piece of chicken and pasta are nearly the same price as a filet.
We are a family of 4 and spent $250 without the tip. We started out with subpar mozzarella sticks and fishy crab cakes. We each ordered the filet ($35 per plate), with Bryan topping (which was an upcharge). In addition, the kids chose to have fettuccine alfredo (which was ANOTHER upcharge), because what kid wants to eat the "free" broccoli side? Ugh.
My husband's filet came out extremely undercooked, which was not ideal, but for $35, it really should have been perfect. He didn't complain and ate it anyway (we know what goes on in kitchens when you send food back). I did bring it up to the waiter and his response was "oh sorry". There was no attempt to even make it right. For the amount of money I just spent, I would expect (at the very least) the manager to come to the table and apologize. I'm not looking for hand outs or free food but, honestly they should have taken an appetizer off the bill or offer even a $5 gift certificate to try to entice us back to the restaurant and try again. We got nothing. That's fine, we won't be back, it wasn't very good anyway and it was 30 mins out of our way. Overall, do not recommend....and we still left a 20% tip, bringing the total to over $300....
