I'm not a hater of chicken salad and I'm not a huge lover of chicken salad. It's something I can eat but not necessarily crave, if that makes sense!!! I wouldn't choose it at a restaurant that serves other things besides chicken salad.
I saw rambling of this business coming to Augusta on Facebook. I never heard of the franchise but was interesting in trying it and its offerings. I checked out its menu several times to get a feel for its items.
Then the day arrived that I would try this place. I was pleased with the experience. The restaurant is really cute and has southern charm. It was easy to order and wait for the food to arrive at the table. I had a harder time choosing what I wanted.
I ended up getting the Chick trio with Sassy Scotty, Buffalo Barclay and Jazzy Julia. My favorite being Sassy Scotty!!! If you have read any of my other reviews, you know I'm a person who loves flavorful food and this chicken salad was the most flavorful of the three. I think I will order it each time I come back.
The cashier suggested the grape salad as a side and I see why!!! It was DELICIOUS!!! I wouldn't normally eat something like that but I really enjoyed it!!! It's something that would be perfect on a sweltering Georgia summer day!!!
While I was dining in I was able to speak with the General manager, Gigi, and she was really pleasant and even gave me more of those delicious crackers that came with my meal!!! I don't like wheat anything but I have been convert, at least to wheat crackers!!!
The staff was very friendly and courteous and removed discarded debris from the table anytime they would see it there. I definitely will be back to this place soon and indulge in some more of those tasty...
Read moreJust got lunch here for the first time. The girl who took our order was extremely rude and impatient. We asked about the different types of bread and she behaved as if she was doing us a favor by telling us. Next she asked my husband what type of chicken salad he wanted. When he asked about the different kinds she nonchalantly pointed over her shoulder and said second side of the menu and rolled her eyes. She said it so fast we had to ask her to repeat what she said. She huffed, rolled her eyes again and repeated it. I never do this but I asked is there was a manager there. Her response: yes. So then I asked if I could speak with the manage. She whirled around and said âhey she wants to talk to youâ and walked away. When I relayed our experience to the manager her response was âok.â Wow. And Iâm not usually a complainer. I canât remember the last time I asked to speak with a manager anywhere. The sandwiches were great. Too bad theyâve lost our business due to nonexistent...
Read moreFirst and foremost the food is delicious. Well priced, and perfectly portioned (even though I'll eat the serving for two, myself đđ). Chicken is actually home-coooked instead of comparable restaurants with overpriced bagged, cooked chicken. The employees are much more courteous than the ones previously staffed in much earlier visits, which makes the visits "warm" and welcoming. The only reasons I give it a 4đ is because the tablecloths keep me from dining in anymore. The design is nice , but so nice that it doesn't need the bulky oversized vinyl cloth for those small tables. They always have a sticky-clean feel to them and that's because just wiping it doesn't cut through and kill the bacteria that grows on that type of surface. I'd just get rid of them to give it a cleaner look and feel,...
