China 8 Restaurant — Restaurant in Augusta

Although I’d like to lead with “this place has great food and fast service”, I sadly cannot. This is a 4 star review for the sole reason that I ordered and paid for beef chow mein and walked away with beef and white rice. This was unbeknownst to me until I made it home to open my styrofoam container that was stapled closed, I cannot tell you why it was stapled closed but that is what was done. The food is good and it’s pretty inexpensive as well—definitely good for the price but given that this was my first experience here, I’m a little upset. I was in the mood for noodles. Don’t get me wrong, I plan to go back for some beef chow mein, I’m just going to check my order before I leave next time. Thanks for the beef and rice, it was...

We were told we could get the Sesame Chicken in a not spicy variety and when we got home it was so spicy Neither me or my daughter could eat it. They were closed the next day on Monday and my car broke down on Tuesday, so I called them on Wednesday to tell them I didn't have a way to return it. The RUDE man on the phone said, 'it's Wednesday now and they can't do anything about it and hung up on me! This is one hole in the wall storage looking food establishment I will never recommend and never patronize again and anybody else that wants good food and good service from a clean looking place, may I recommend Asian Wok across the street....

Update,this plate looks good shrimp,big succulent, not,they fall apart mushy in your mouth and the vegetables were raw not crunchy Most of the plate was white rice.this was pre- cooked and heated when I ordered,no telling how long it was cooked before.i noticed alot of the food is precooked and not freshly cooked and then brought out of cool storage and reheated. Egg rolls mushy and cant tell they are pork because you cant see the meat.they look like premixed cabbage and carrots cooked .about done here time to find a place that cooks...
