This is not a steakhouse. It's a hotel bar with tables. Don't eat here.
2.5 hours to eat at any restaurant is a long time. 2.5 hours to eat at a dead restaurant is ridiculous. We went because it's advertised as a steakhouse. The only steak available was a 14oz ribeye. I'm fine with that, however it wasn't cooked to temperature (medium) and was drier than the boots I was wearing.
Appetizer took an hour to get out of the kitchen, main course took another 1.5 hours. If the food was amazing, or if the restaurant was busy, or if there was some sort of reason for any of this, I wouldn't care. I fully understand I could've left but it was a sunk cost fallacy by the time we were fed up with everything. We had been there long enough that if we'd left, getting food elsewhere would've taken just as long. I'm fully confident that I ate the only steak they've ever prepared at this establishment.
I used to run kitchens, so I like to think I'm pretty understanding when it comes to kitchen hijinks. The only saving grace was a nice night out with my girlfriend. I'd rather order a steak from waffle house than bother walking into this place again. It's not a steakhouse. I wouldn't eat here if I was sleeping at the Sheraton hotel, which is what this restaurant is...
Read moreAte here because it was in the hotel. Had bang bang shrimp appetizer and Cajun Alfredo pasta with chicken added. Bang bang shrimp were good, pasta was ok - was expecting more heat but it tasted like just a typical Alfredo sauce. Service was very slow but the restaurant was packed and the bartender said they were down a cook. Drinks at the bar made by Lauren (I think) were very good. In fact, this was on our return home trip and previously on our outbound trip we had eaten out but had drinks at the bar before going to bed. The drinks enticed us to eat and watch the football game, rather than head out. Price with drinks and tip for two was just under $100. Shared the food and spent more on the drinks, which...
Read moreThis dining experience was disappointing. This was my first visit. Placed an order for the prime ribeye and the sirloin. Salads were ordered for both meals. Another table was seated and placed their order after mine. About 30 minute's (maybe longer) the server comes out to say they were out of lettuce. Green beans were ordered in place of the salads. The server then comes out with 4 or 5 salads for the table that ordered after me. I asked the server how is it that the table that was seated and ordered after us was about to get salads. The server stated the cook mixed all the lettuce that was left to make cesear salads for that order. The server should have stated that in the beginning. As a result, my order...
