I was really excited to see that a Vietnamese restaurant would be opening up so close to my home. Decided to go on a Sunday between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. to avoid the busy Sunday lunch/church crowd but when I arrived it was somewhat of chaos. All tables that people were not seated at were dirty and had dishes on them. I waited over 5 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge that I was standing there. I finally got the attention of a young girl that I'm not all together sure was a waitress or possibly working the checkout area. I ordered the basil shrimp rolls and the seafood Pho. The roles were essentially tasteless. And I have been eating Vietnamese food in many different cities all over the country for the last 30 years. My entree looked good. I felt the broth was good. But the protein is another issue. If shrimp is listed first there should be more than three. I feel that the squid was frozen prior to being cooked. Very rubbery and very fishy tasting. Before ordering I inquired about fish balls saying I did not think that I would like them and I didn't. I also think that it was highly unnecessary to have sliced onions on top of the broth in addition to the green onions and other greenery in the broth. Made it pretty much impossible to even enjoy the protein. After discussing all of this with the young girl I asked her if I were to come back would I be able to get just get shrimp as opposed to the other two items. And indeed expressed my disappointment in the protein part of the meal. Never really got an answer to that question was only offered a discount. They also did not make me pay for the roles which was nice. I saw a lot of people in the kitchen but none of them coming out to help the front of the house. It's nice that you can put food out quickly but if my entree comes out before my appetizer then maybe you should step back and take a look at what's going on. I have worked in and managed restaurants over my 60 years and I think the problem here is organization and communication. I saw a lot of things coming out of the kitchen that looked good so I want to try this again. They could have been having a bad day as we all do. But I fear if there's no substitutions or deletions allowed they will severely limit their reach when it comes...

First time here. I got the combination rice bowl with less sauce. The flavor was great. The vegetables still had some crunch.

I'd prefer smaller pieces of vegetables and meat since they were mostly large, so I asked for a knife.

It comes in a small pot and some of the fried rice was crunchy and hard, which I didn't care for. This was probably due to the hot pot over cooking it. I guess I'm more of a plate guy than a pot guy anyway. I like access to all aspects of my dish at once. With the pot, you either eat your way to the rice (it'll be a while), or you must transfer the contents to another dish to get access.

The hot pepper oil on the table did a nice job spicing things up.

Service was fine up until the point I was finished (napkins stacked on plate and shoved aside finished).

After about 10 minutes I flagged the server down and said I'm ready for the check. She said I get the check and pay at the counter. Lesson learned.

The place was nice, the servers were friendly and the bathroom was modern and clean. Overall, it was a pretty good experience now that I know...

Went in for dinner on 9/6/22 and was seated by a young man , never got his name. Asked if vermicelli plate could come with easy egg was told not sure . That's koo no biggie , but then continued to get not sure for just about every question . Had to hand him our phone to see if they had a plate that was pictured on the restaurants menu on website. Ordered n asked to add summer rolls 3 times n in the end was never brought to us. All other tables got asked how everything was if they needed any thing n not once was asked if we needed anything like uh maybe Idk a refill perhaps. In then food was very very good but service was really poor from our experience. We were ready to leave n asked for bag n plate to go ... before 2 other tables n they got theirs n I had to go up n ask for plate n bag again n then young man told me I could grab it myself lol 😆 I asked I can grab it my self n he said yeah.i was like OK koo . In the end service was super poor but foods good. I'm going to Pho Augusta better, service and food are...

I had the classic beef pho with various beef cuts and added extra noodles that came on the side. We also had the seafood pho and pork and shrimp spring rolls as appetizer. The jasmine tea was made with tea pouch. The water could have been way hotter to help brew the tea and to keep the tea hot when you're on your 2nd cup. The spring rolls came out pre-cut to help the sharing experience. The dipping sauce was surprisingly topped with dried shallot flakes. The beef pho had healthy amount of proteins with trimmed rare flank, tripe, beef balls, tendons, and brisket. Broth came out fresh and hot to cook the pairing bean sprouts and tasted savory. The seafood pho had squid, shrimp, and shrimp ball. Broth came out hot as expected as well. This met my expectations.

I saw on Facebook that a new pho place was opening up and decided to give it a try on my lunch break (alone) to knock out some work. The menu looked good and it's close to work and home. When I came in, I was greeted nicely and told that I could grab a seat and someone would be with me. The menu had a lot to choose from and pretty pictures. I decided to try the spring rolls and rare steak and meatball pho (small). My server asked me to be patient due to it being opening week, so I anticipated a long wait, however, my food took less than 10 minutes to arrive. :) The food was great and the broth had great flavor. The small portion of pho was plenty and I feel FULL! I will definitely come back to try more!
